Works ok but no digital read out
It seems to work ok but I didn’t realize there was no digital read out. It only shows on the app. The app seems to work well and syncs w/other fertility apps so that’s cool. Just wish it had a digital read so I could see it without opening my phone.

the battery only last for 45 days
this truly sucks as the thermometer doesn't have a reader so cant see the temperature until you put it in the app and can't use it for anything else

Effective, difficult to set up
I bought this upon recommendation from a friend. My menstrual cycles are hard to predict and we are having a hard time convincing. So far I like the product. You get a 3 day free trial of the premium app, and then you can use the basic version for free- but it will constantly prompt you to pay for the premium subscription. You can simply “x” out of the prompt and continue using the free version. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for “ease of use” was that it was difficult to connect to the device simply due to lack of instructions. For reference, I have an iPhone. The instructions make it seem as if you have to connect the device via your Bluetooth settings- like you would with any other Bluetooth device. However, you have to download the app first and it will only connect via the app. It does not show up as a device in my Bluetooth settings. Make sure your Bluetooth is on, and the Femometer is on (after you have inserted the batteries, it will beep once you remove the lid). Go to the Femometer app and click the Bluetooth symbol in the upper left corner. There is where you can connect your your Femometer device. From there forward, the device will automatically connect when you open the app and have the device on. I saw a few reviews say their device didn’t connect and I suspect this is why they had issues. It took my about 10-15 mins to figure that out. So, it would have been nice for the instructions to mention that the device only connects via app and not your settings. Otherwise, so far a good, useful product.

Middle rating due to my inconsistent use
This was easy to set up and use, and I really liked it. I have only d=given it a middle rating due to my inconsistent use of it. We are "trying to avoid" and due to other stressors happening, I just haven't used it the way it should be used. But again, the set up was easy, it is easy to read, and the app is helpful.

Easily track and record your BBT. You DON'T have to pay for the app to use this...
I think some people are getting confused with the app. Yes, there's a premium version of it that unlocks features like predictions, in-depth fertility and symptom info, etc.(And yes, developers have to work to keep those features updated and running..)If you're just looking to record your temps each day and track your cycles though, that's FREE.Both screenshots I'm showing here are from the free area of the app - accessible by tapping into the History Records area of the homepage. Here's how I do my temperature recording. :I place the thermometer in my bed with me. As soon as my alarm goes off, I put it in my mouth. Yes, it takes 60 seconds or so, which might feel slow by today's standards. But I promise, if you use this time to actually wake up and take some breaths, it's not so bad..I also take the opportunity to turn my phone back on and make sure that Bluetooth is connected.Once you hear the beeps, you can go ahead and close the thermometer back up.It instantly records your temperatures. This is useful, even if you're not concerned with becoming pregnant.Basal temperature is a good indicator of things like cycle timing and even metabolism!Especially if you have thyroid or metabolic problems, tracking your BBT can help show you if your treatment plan is working effectively for you.I appreciate that Femometer included the battery too, which saved me a trip to the store. I love the overall design of the thermometer and I'm enjoying tracking my temperature as it relates to my health!I'd recommend this!

Couldn't Get It To Measure Anything
I was looking forward to using a basal thermometer; however, sadly this one isn't the one for me. I was able to download the app and get it all set up but the minute I go to measure my temperature, it just won't measure anything. I heard a beep and everything and followed the steps to a T but still no luck. I have tried to uninstall and install the app and it just doesn't measure my temperature.

Honestly Not Impressed, Like At All.
Honestly this thing is a waste of money, not only do you have to pay for a thermometer, the app makes you pay for the use of it. GOOD LUCK getting your temp. 1-3 minutes my behind. I was actually excited to use this to get better with my cycles, and honestly it's a better paper weight than it is a thermometer. I refuse to pay for the service, and it appears to not work at all. Not worth it. App deleted and thermometer in the trash. I get better readings with the old school ovulation strips. Little more of a process, but at least it works. Plus they are LOADS cheaper, and you don't need a subscription to get your results.

So easy!
I’ve been tracking my basal body temp for the past few months to track my ovulation. I was using a thermometer that had no back light so I had to take the temp first thing when I woke up, quickly turn off the thermometer so it would save the reading, come back later when the light was on to manually enter into the app. I was so excited for this thermometer. It was relatively easy to set up and download the app. Admittedly, it did take me a minute to figure out how to surpass the pay version for just the free basic version. The thermometer itself is sleek and easy for travel! I will say the part thag goes into your mouth is a big thicker and short, and made of hard plastic… so a little uncomfortable and will take some time getting used to but totally doable. You do have to have your phone awake for the thermometer to connect, leaving it locked on your night stand while you take your temp won’t work. However, the thermometer won’t beep and tell you it’s done unless it transmits to the phone which I found nice! The app is very cool! I did buy this before I was pregnant but am pregnant now and the app has lots of cool features!
