I was gifted an ALC and ARC of this book.4.5 Stars / 3 peppersI REALLY loved this story! Millie was such a relatable character on so many levels, and Zach is a perfect book boyfriend. They have a chance meeting at a hotel and have an amazing night together and then part ways. But neither can forget the other.Millie is a wedding planner and she's helped plan her ex-boyfriend, Mason's, wedding. They stayed friends after their breakup. Zach gets some shocking news that Mason is his grown son that he never knew about. And when Zach is invited to the wedding, he and Millie reunite.They decide to keep their relationship a secret because they don't want to hurt Mason. The reason for their secret starts to run deeper as their feelings grow. Millie decides to start a new bridal business to help plus-sized brides the dress of their dreams, and she worries that being with her ex's father will cause gossip and a scandal. Zach is reluctant, because although he wants Millie, he keeps his emotions closely guarded due to trauma in his past. Millie wants to have a family and Zach never wanted to have children. They have major issues to overcome.They can't stay away from each other, but they know they have no future.I loved that we were able to watch their relationship and friendship grow over time. We see them having real conversations about their dreams and life. Zach is so supportive of Millie's new dream, as is everyone in her life. I related so deeply with her desire to do something different with her career but also being afraid of stepping out in faith to do something new. It was beautiful how deeply Zach "got" her and encouraged her. The ending was wonderful and I teared up several times.This was not my first audiobook with Sebastian York but it was my first with Lucy Rivers. I thought they both played the emotion of the characters well. Initially, I had somewhat of a difficult time adjusting to Lucy's male voice, but as I listened longer it became easier for me to stay in the story.

I wasn’t expecting Tempt to be so emotional, especially because the characters were apart for a good chunk of the book - but this worked on so many levels. Tempt is definitely my favorite release of Melanie’s this year!

You know when the book says "age gap" but the MMC is 37 and the FMC is 24 .....Millie is 32 !! And Zach is late forties .....this book 🥵🥵🥵 the steam together is off the hook THE PHONE CALLS !!!! Oof damn really well written. I did get irrated by the fact zachs son (Millies "ex") who has no claim to his father's life goes Oh well if you want me in your life you won't do anything at all that makes me throw a tantrum ....he had such a sooky way about him....ickBack to Zach .....and that's it !!

Sexy as hell. Incredibly well written. Original plot. Authentic characters. I read it in a day. Couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Will definitely read more from this hugely talented author.

I love this whole series but this book..Jesus Zach put my expectations for man way tooooo high 🤤🫡Just amazing. Go read it!
