Absolutely great maul!!!!!
Ive bn through at least 3 mauls this last winter and this one has lasted and the epoxy isn’t even showed signs of delaminating from the head or the handle and beautiful edge on it as well. I absolutely love this maul!!!!!!

Great maul but possibly too heavy for some.
This is a great maul for splitting. It is heavy which might be an issue for some but the added weight really helps on those hard to split logs.

I’ve used the same standard splitting maul for 40 years and have to say this splits wood way easier.The handle is extremely stout but feels a little fat in my XXL hands towards the head. It feels great everywhere else and splits wood much easier. Great purchase.

Estwing 8 lb maul
Really a great looking axe. Estwing 8 lb maul came with a very sharp blade. Don't even want to scratch it using it. lol

Sharp from the factory
It feels really nice with a well shaped and length of handle and feel to the weight of the cutting head. I just wish it had a metal handle protector for the handle. That would easily make it perfect.
