Delightful
Stunningly well-made, comfortable, and stylish. Brooks England hasn't lost its commitment to quality, nor its access to the employees and infrastructure that made their name and it shows! I'm wild about this shorter design since I often ride in skirts, and I highly recommend the simple brown color because it's so pretty as it ages! I unwittingly purchased the classic B17 model years ago and the seat took on just the most beautiful color variations over time. The seat was eventually stolen, which gave me the opportunity to purchase this skirt-friendly women's design that I'd discovered a year or so ago. Couldn't be happier! Ladies, this is one luxury product that's worth every penny! One final note: The broader seat frame is incredibly comfortable, even if you have only a modest bum. Ask me how I know!

Lovely, comforable seat
I really love this seat. It's high quality and very comfortable. Having never installed a bike seat before, I found it pretty easy to install and adjust correctly. This is so much better than the stock seat my bike came with. I love that it's leather and looking forward to using it for years to come. I purchased this seat as I had seen some influencers bike the Great Northern Bikepacking Route (8,500 miles!) using this seat, if that's not a testament to it's longevity and comfort for long miles, then I'm not sure what is!

Fantastic Brooks Bike Seat for Women
I've had this bike seat for about 5 years now and it is in great condition. It does take some breaking in, as all leather items do, but once the seat forms to your body it makes for comfortable riding. I highly recommend this product. Arrived exactly as pictured.

Nice saddle, but best for a standard (safety) bicycles
I bought this as an alternate saddle for my ordinary (penny farthing). It was comfortable enough and certainly well made, but the brackets for hanging a tool bag snagged and tore my pants while mounting (these old style bicycles are mounted from behind the saddle). In future I'll need to grind the brackets off to prevent further mounting mishaps. Still, a nice saddle.

Gorgeous and well fitting
Okay, this saddle does take some getting used to, for me anyway, I'm in my 50s and not as plush as I used to be! But by riding my bike 30 minutes a day it took about 10 days to break in. The first couple days I could feel it, but it was not as noticeable as some other things I've felt in this area before, and you know what I mean. The support on my sit bones is just exactly where it should be. In the past I had a great women-specific gel seat on a touring bike, so I do know what support in the right place feels like. Besides all this functionality, the saddle looks fantastic. Quality and style. My only concern is that it might get stolen, so I may get one of those thin, thin steel cable locks and thread it through the rails and around the frame if I ever have to leave my steed in a public place. So far I only ride it from home and back. Anyway, it's worth the money to have style, function, quality, and the "look of a serious cyclist". LOL. When you get past 50 it's time to enjoy the small luxuries. This is one.

Best money spent on your bike.
I'm 6' tall, 250'ish lbs, riding a Fuji touring bike. The stock Fuji seat is what I've been using for years - a fancy foam seat with a split down the center for your parts. After riding for 20 miles or so, that seat got to be very uncomfortable no matter what I wore. Things would bunch up and start chafing and it would be fairly unpleasant. Once I put the new Brooks Saddle on, everything changed. First, let me reiterate what other people have said about this seat - it is not something you just toss on there and instantly life is perfect. My stock seat post was not tilt adjustable so I bought a new Thompson seat post. It works perfectly, allowing me to make very minute adjustments to the tilt and seat positioning. I made the mistake of popping the new seat on and going for a 16 mile ride. It was quite comfortable compared to my old seat - then I could barely walk, let alone ride, for three days. Turns out I had it positioned just a bit too high and was unconsciously sliding side to side a little bit each time I turned the crank. After lowering the seat I found I kept sliding forward and fighting to keep myself in the proper position - small readjustments in the tilt fixed that. I'm pretty sure at this point I have it all dialed in where it needs to be but I still bring my wrench along just in case I want to make a little tweak. So, was it worth it? Every penny and more. It's not broken in yet but it's already WAY more comfortable than my stock seat. I've also found it's made me faster - I'm seated properly now and can feel when something is not right. Instead of a foam seat squishing out of the way to compensate for poor riding position my seat now helps me keep in line. When everything lines up and you get it right, it is a very very nice thing. If you are reading this then you are already contemplating a new seat. This one is worth the money and worth the effort getting it positioned properly. Bring your allen wrench when you get it installed, keep your first several rides somewhat shorter until you get yours right, and you will be happy with this purchase.

There’s a reason so many people use these.
Not only is this saddle absolutely beautiful, it is the most neutral saddle I’ve ever ridden in since I started cycling. I’ve put several hundred miles in on it and I don’t feel like it’s broken in yet, but it’s never been uncomfortable, even on long rides. The craftsmanship is top notch. I am also an equestrian and though it is a much sturdier, heavier leather than horse people typically use, it is the highest quality. I have no doubt this saddle will last a very, very long time. If you’ve been considering one, just do it. I wish I had one of these much sooner.

Hard to break in.
Very hard to break in and didn’t provide enough breaking oil to get the job done.

Brooks saddles need no justifying, there is plenty of reviews and YouTube's detailing their comfort especially for long cycling journeys, days in the saddle. However, a lot say how hard the saddles are to begin with. I bought 2 one for me and 1 for hubby. We found them instantly comfortable and a big improvement on our previous saddles. We are proofhiding them as recommended to form the seat to our bodies. This is easily and quickly done. Also I bought the B17S which is designed for women's pelvic shape ie slightly shorter. This is not usually advertised but worth searching for if you are a woman.

Gran prodotto per il prezzo.. un must per chi ama lo stile vintage e non. Importante è ingrassare la sella nei primi mesi

The Brooks B17 saddles have been around for decades for good reason - they work ! They are durable - lasting over 16 years on one of my bikes, and 12 on another before it was stolen. They are comfortable - conforming to your shape as the leather "beds in". Most new road bicycles are sold with narrow saddles that aren't wide enough to support your hip bones (but are smaller and cheaper to make). Not a problem if you are short in stature and/or a boy-racer who spends most of his ride time putting weight into the pedals rather than the seat. They are not cheap, and not widely stocked, but definitely worth every cent.
