This does the flavor job for all kinds of cooking. Also, low sodium. Have it on hand at the stove.

Whether you just like an easy to make cup of broth or use this in every day cooking, this can be pantry staple. I originally bought this as I use broths extensively in cooking because they are an easy way to “amp up the flavor” of some dishes. But I have to watch my sodium intake and with sodium already “baked into” practically everything, it can be difficult an adjustment. Some people more than others.Since I tend to cook from scratch all the time anyway, I added this to a lot of recipes and either eliminated the salt or greatly reduced it. For example: I love egg fried rice and make it all the time. I either make the rice using the chicken broth or if using older rice that is already cooked, I reconstitute a packet in a tablespoon of water or sherry, then add it when I add the cooked rice. Then add a splash of coconut amino’s (not Bragg’s, not as good as soy sauce but not anywhere near the sodium of even “low sodium” soy sauce) and since I use a nonstick sauté pan, a little sesame oil to finish it.It is also a space saver in your pantry as this takes less space than the respective sauce or broth bases and definitely less than canned or boxed broth/stock.

I love having these on hand. I don’t have to keep the large boxes of broth anymore. No waste, make what I need, when I it.Sounds expensive until you see how much broth you will eventually end with.

Use this especially in casseroles and making soup. We need to cut out as much salt as possible.

I wish each package was bigger but they work so easy for a single cup of soup or whatever. Boil a cup of hot water and add the package of broth, stir and use. Easy! lol and convenient!
