Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer To Go Medium Golden 0.2 oz

I hardly ever write reviews, but I have to this time. I have been using this product for at least 13 years and have purchased it many times. I read many reviews before making my purchase this time because I had not purchased it in a while. I like to focus on "RECENT purchase reviews" when I check back in on a favorite item like this. Well, I found several reviews that said that the product had changed and that it wasn't the same "recipe" etc. This made me hesitant to purchase. Well, I just received my shipment yesterday and it was Amazon fulfilled (not a 3rd party seller) and my product is fine. Yes, the packaging is slightly different this time, but the product is still what I expected. Keep reading. . . I suggest the following to all of the people that say the their product was too thick or too thin or too oily: Warm your tube in your hands for a while. Then GENTLY knead/massage the tube a bit. The product does/can separate a bit within the tube. You need to kind of "mix" is up. I even do this after I have not used it for a while. If you do not do this, sometimes all of the thick stuff comes out first and it won't be the right texture OR all of the moisturizing oil comes out first which isn't optimal and then this leaves all of the thick and colored product in the bottom end of the tube. Everyone wants the baby bear's "just right porridge" right? So massage and knead the tube all around, top to bottom, before using it, to mix ALL of the ingredients into a consistent concealer.

I love this product. When I first bought it at Ulta the lady said “Oh, that’s usually only used for brides.” Why would I not want to look as good as somebody does on their wedding day?! If you see the pic here of the woman with a black eye and she covers it with this - THAT IS HOW GOOD THIS PRODUCT IS! I have olive Italian skin that leans slightly yellow. I get the warm beige color, I believe. It covers my dark circles completely! It only needs to be dabbed once after it settles with a little egg shaped sponge or you can set it with powder (but that takes away the dewiness) I sometimes just dab it with my finger. After that it does not crease! How rare is that to find? I cannot tell you how poorly all other undereye concealers work compared to this! Some make your eyes look dry and cakey, some crease all day, some just disappear or never cover at all. This is the holy grail of concealers! PLEASE DON’T EVER DISCONTINUE!!!

I am a medium to light skinned woman with yellow undertones and the medium golden was too dark for my undereye. I wish cosmetic industries would start selling small samples of every color in their makeup lines so that us consumers could just buy a sample first to determine our perfect color (for online purchases). Yeah you can go into a store but I sometimes don't have the time for that and enjoy online buying. I think light golden would have been a better color for the undereye to brighten and lighten. This stuff is thick and it cakes on. And I only used a small amount. I just couldn't like it and I tried. I am over 50 with some undereye wrinkles and it just made them more prominent. It aged me horribly. This is my fourth purchase of concealers (of different brands) and I'm just not finding what I need. I don't think some companies cater to mature faces. I guess I'll keep using my tried and true Cover Girl which doesn't cake but also doesn't cover my circles that well either. But it'll have to do for now. Search continues. I know one thing, I'm never spending this much ever again for makeup! I've learned my lesson and I'm not listening to hype about products any longer. :) My advice is to get color matched in a store that carries this and consider your needs (undereye versus blemishes) and be careful if you have any wrinkles.

Hi Lisa, I did receive the product on time. Unfortunately, I didn't love the product. It does offer a great coverage and although at first I thought that the price was pretty steep for such a small tube, but I found that only very little product is needed so the price is tolerable. The color is a bit darker than I expected, but that's on me. What I don't love about the product is that it is much too thick. I dot and pat as directed, I feel as though the product pulls on the skin under my eyes. Perhaps because I have mature skin. I did find a solution at least to go through this tube is to mix it with a very light (color and weight) concealer and mixed it to apply. It still feels too thick but better than what it was. It does have a great coverage though as I had stated, but the product is just not right for me, color-wise or texture-wise.

I have been wearing this brand for years now. I have tried a few others, but do not get the coverage I get from this brand. It's important to remember "a little goes a long way" with this, I take my ring finger and a small amount, pat it underneath my eye area into the more "hollow" looking area (side of the nose/eye area). Then I pat a little on top of my eye lid as a primer for my eye shadow. I do a lot of "patting" it in, if you don't you can see it and don't do too much or it settles into the fine lines. I am 49yrs. old and worry about the 'crepe' look with concealer. This works, but again, do not put a lot on or you will have a mess and it will look all wrong.
