I got these as a gift two years ago from my daughter. I wash them regularly in cold water and a facial soap and gently scrub on a silicone face scrubby thing and there has been zero shedding. They’ve held up beautifully.

Q: Are the brushes soft but firm?

Yes they r did and firm I been testing them out for like 2 months no complains bout it they r perfect and the price is amazing ❤️

Q: Do these come with a brush case or bag to put them in?

Mine did indeed come in a container. Not sure why others who answered this said theirs didn't. Maybe they didn't used to include the container, but now they do? I don't know. All I know is my set DID come in a hard case. It's not the prettiest, fanciest case- it's quite utilitarian, but the color is a nice rosey-bronze. Most importantly, it will protect your brushes from dust, or if needing to travel with them. It's hard plastic, so your brushes won't be crushed. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see my set came with this case, since I read so many people say that it didn't come with one.

Q: what is each brush used for?

I’ve always wondered that. I bought this and mine didn’t even come with any instruction sheet. I’ve just been picking up a brush and saying “This will work” But I suggest looking up the info on google or YouTube. There are many videos that are about makeup brushes and the use. It will answer all your question. Idk why it took me so long to use my own advice!
