Great.
Only toothpaste I buy my dog, his teeth are lovely and white, been using this since he got his adult teeth. He likes the flavour, lasts a long while and his vets have commented on what lovely teeth he has, so must be doing something right.

Dog likes the taste.
This arrived quickly. It's quite expensive, but my dog seems to like the taste.

Has definitley reduced dark staining
I had been using Logic gel for over a year and my dog's tooth staining was getting worse no matter what I did.I tried this as an alternative not expecting much, partly because it was so cheap, but after 1 tube it has started to shift the staining on my dog's teeth so I'm happy to carry on with this brand and see how it goes from here. It's not 100% gone but the staining is now much more patchy on the teeth as it's obviosuly been removed in some areas as the toothpaste has done it's job. I'm hoping in a another couple of months the teeth will be nearly perfectly white again. One tube has lasted me about 5 weeks easily for 2 dogs - so it feels like good value.I have a smaller rescue dog and an ex-racer greyhound. My greyhound came to us with pretty bad teeth as the back ones were pretty caked with plaque and needed a good scaling at the vets within a few weeks of us re-homing him. He didn't need any teeth removing fortunately, but it was felt some had sustianed damage to not being looked after before he got to us. Some may need removing in the future so it's been a priority to keep on top of his teeth issues as I want to preserve them as long as possible for him. I'm confident the Beophar toothpaste is going to help.

Good cat toothpaste but awful packaging
The toothpaste is fine and my cats like the taste. The same can't be said for the tube, as the silver on the tube came off on my hands and I have to pick it off the toothbrush. I have now put cling film on the tube. More considered packaging in the future is the only answer for the manufacturer.

Acceptable with no issues!
My dog seems to like this Beaphar Toothpaste and shows no side effects or reaction. It is not as firm as some when placed on the toothbrush, however it does hold its form and seems to be effective over time.

My dog likes this toothpaste
Half the battle is getting your dog to allow you to put the toothpaste on its teeth - the liver flavour helps. I wrap a piece of elastoplast round my finger and put the toothpaste on that - you can get good traction with it and it's not as prickly as a toothbrush - a vet gave me that tip. My dog's 11 and I only use this every month or so but her teeth are in good nick, apart from a bit of plaque on the canines, so maybe it does work. At least you're doing something if you use it. I find a "Stagbar" (antler bone) is also a good plaque remover - she loves chewing on that.

Effective in tartar removal
Really good for tartar build up, but you do have to be consistent. I've been brushing my dog's teeth most days and there's visibly less tartar. My dog seems to like the taste of the toothpaste. It doesn't have much of a smell.
