This necklace comes in a nice round gift box with a shiny worry stone included. It is a long, adjustable necklace with what looks like a long whistle at the end. The idea is to breathe into your nose and exhale through your mouth through the pendant. I tried it and it does help me to exhale more thoroughly but I don't think I will use this a lot for breathing through. It does help when I am anxious because it takes my mind off of my anxiety and puts it onto breathing and blowing the air out of the flute.I think it is nice looking necklace. It's long enough for wearing with sweaters this fall and winter and seems to be well made. The pendant comes wrapped in a soft plastic covering and my pics show it with the plastic still on. But it is shiny and durable. I do think there are benefits to deep breathing and I feel like this pendant can help me focus on that because my mind wanders and I just give up. I wouldn't breathe through it in public. It may look like a vape thing or whatever. But maybe if I were very anxious and needed to calm down, I would use it in a restroom or other private area. It makes a very nice gift for someone who is anxious or into meditation. The stone is a great plus. I carry it with me in my purse.

While I do have some anxiety issues, I was initially drawn to this necklace because I love the way it looks. Simple. Elegant. Unique. After a bit of research, I found that a variety of companies carry a similar design but charge at least twice as much (all the way up to over $300)! The only differences that I can see are in length of the breathing pendant or that others have a brand stamped on part of the jewelry.Dangling from a nice chain with an adjustable length added to the back, the pendant portion arrives with a very thick (yet clear) rubbery cover that I removed prior to wearing and use. I practiced using it while reading the instructions on one of the enclosed cards and it was simple enough, though I feel a bit lightheaded when I slow down my breathing to inhale and exhale as instructed. (My breaths aren't usually deep and thoughtful like they are while using this, so maybe focused breathing will be calming and helpful with some more practice.)I was eager to wear the necklace to work because that's where I'm usually stressed, plus it looks great with my work clothes. So there I was with 37 middle school students and one of my girls complimented the necklace and asked what it was. (Even 13-14 year-olds like it!) I explained its purpose to the entire class and several students said it looked like I was vaping, so I walked around the room and let the kids see it up close. Some said things like, "I think it's a whistle and she's waiting to scare us," and I said it just might be. It's definitely a great addition to my wardrobe and caught the attention of students and colleagues throughout the day.Available in four different color tones / finishes, this comes in an attractive giftable box and includes a worry stone and easy-to-follow instructions for use. I've had in less than a week and I'm VERY happy with it! My students, girls and boys alike, said they'd rather have one of these than a fidget-spinner or a stress-ball, so it seems to be a practical tool that's not just for adults, but tweens and teens as well. I highly recommend this for a unique and functional accessory!

This is such a great concept and the jewelry is unique in its simplicity.I've been trying to find other ways to combat my anxiety including carrying around little items that I can fidget with and whatnot. But sometimes I forget to bring one with me or sometimes I can't just carry one of those around and start playing with it.This is a great tool bc can wear it anywhere. It does look a little bit like a whistle but I love that's it's just a nice simple piece of jewelry that would look great on anyone and goes with just about any outfit.It is also packaged so very nicely and includes a cool stone with it as well so this is also gift ready and think it would make a great gift!

I don’t get it. It’s packaged “OK” but I fail to see the point. It is literally a 3 inch long metal tube on a chain. There is nothing that this does that a regular straw couldn’t do… you don’t need this to do “mindful breathing”. Perhaps, if it was super elegant looking, I would be a little kinder, but it’s not. It’s a black metal tube.
