bought is book not realizing the two volume edition included this. i would advise purchasing Woodcarver's Workbook: Two Volumes in One.

I thought I had all of Mary Duke Guldan's books, but somehow I missed this one. It's going to be just the right thing to help with my youngest carver, our twelve year old grandaughter. Perfect!

Good book

Good book with good pictures and step by step instructions.

Tiene consejos interesantes y algunos de los proyectos me gustan. Pero, aunque el libro es barato, es muy corto, algunas ilustraciones son malas y todas vienen en blanco y negro. Además, a veces usa un tipo de letra que imita la escritura manual, y molesta a la hora de leer. A pesar de que son más caros me parecen mucho mejores el de Chris Pye o el de Everett Ellenwood, vale la pena pagar más

This book is absolutely cracking I’d recommend it to anyone who likes wood carving

This book is very easy to follow. Although most photos are actually drawings. The book takes you through the very basics. It has a few good projects to get you started. For someone starting out like myself with no knowledge it is an ideal stating point.

Ok but limited content

Looks very promising but I have not had the opportunity yet to have a go! Possibly a project for the winter.
