Just right. Helped level out the self leveling nicely and allowed surface to better level out

Used this sparingly to help spread self levelling compound.It did the job fine and cleaned easily.It fit onto a standard paint roller handle with the plastic cone screwed on the end. Perfectly sturdy and never felt like it was going to fall off at any point.

The media could not be loaded. First time attempting to pour a self leveling compound. Used a primer that works on porous and non-porous surfaces. Had 2 helpers to mix and carry. Need to be prepared as the time window to mix and pour is around 20mins 30mins (Mapei 3240). Poured at the entrance first as it was the deep end (20mm to 5mm at the back wall) and poured the remaining 4 batches to ensure a good spread and used the spiked roller to move the compound around and work it to a good finish. It worked really effectively and was key to getting a good finish and even spread. Where it was deep I lifted the roller a little to allow it to roll over the surface rather than pushing a bow wave. Purchased spiked shoe attachments. These were cheap and fine for this type of job, again without them it would have been difficult to get a decent finish.

Spikes are a bit thick which is particularly problematic on a faster setting compound. If looking for the cheapest, this is OK, reasonably robust, spins freely and entirely usable. I would suggest considering spending a little more to get a roller with finer spikes

Worked perfectly at a fraction of the price. Removed all the bubbles leaving a smooth finish over a huge area. Very easy to clean.

If you are considering levelling a floor, this is the Ideal tool for the job. In my case it left a faultless smooth finish with no bubbles,this might be something to do with the levelling compound I've used but I'm certain this roller was a contributing factor in getting a professional looking finish at a reasonable price.

Does the job (levelling concrete process) and if you clean it, it’s reusable

These are handy to remove bubbles when doing floor screeding or self levelling like Arditex. You need to attach it to a broom handle or pole you have - just a push fit will do usually as you don't really put much pressure on this while using it. It's easy to use and cleans easily but this one is quite narrow, so great for smaller rooms / areas but if you are doing a large area you will want a much wider one.
