I've been using this on my feet for the past week and I believe there is an improvement in the tingling and numbness feel as I retire for the evening. I am also using the Vimergy B12 drops under my tongue in the morning as this is supposed to enhance the effectiveness of the control of neuropathy in my feet.

Even though it is not as long-lasting (after application) as I would like it still gives me enough relief time to fall asleep. So many nights I have spent kicking my toes against the wall just to feel pain rather than that irritating tingling sensation. Neuropothy sucks!

Product uses capsaicin as "pain relief" for nerve pain. Seems it is normal to take 2 weeks to reduce shingles PHN pain. Much of the pain sensation I have read about is likely from the regrowth of nerves that were damaged by the shingles virus. It takes time for the nerves to regrow to the skin, but apparently the nerves will regrow. Capsaicin seems to do the opposite by stopping pain by killing nerves back. That is why some say it takes 2 weeks for capsaicin to stop being burny or hot when applying to skin, the nerves have been 'pruned' back. I am not comfortable with this concept. For others perhaps with milder PHN, this product may help. It has other nice ingredients, which is why I chose it.

I have purchased these items for my husband who seems to be in the (so called) 17% of those who have had shingles and struggle a long time or may never get over the damage caused by the disease itself. He is 83 and until about 4 years ago has been in really good health. After that age he began to have problems - 5 blood transfusions in about 3 months with the doctors not seeing any reason for it, then began some abdominal pain which became so severe - more tests showed that the gallbladder was about to rupture and we were sent to a larger city facility immediately where the gallbladder was removed. Recovering from that situation was followed by him not being able to properly empty his bladder. Results of that were tests done showing that he had bladder cancer. Upon that diagnosis he was given a schedule of chemo treatments with all the frequent tests. The tests still showed cancer of the wall. Treatment of that was discussed and finally decided that the removal of the bladder was the best treatment for him. On July 5th, 2017 the surgery was done and further tests seemed to show no recurring cancer. (We had opted for the surgery only due to his age.) Then one morning (two months ago) he got up with the .....shingles arriving on and around the left side of his face mouth and head. The Doctors gave him the standard therapy for the viral disease and he got over the rash. But he did not get over the terrible nurve pain. I don't think it was the medicine not working. It was not working for the nerve damage. I have read hundreds of pages showing that this is something that the medical field should look into. It is devistating. My husband is a strong man emotionally and is trying to do everything he can. I have purchased a whole mess of items like hemp but nothing has worked outside, inside, under the tongue. You are very welcome to dump this after (I hope you will read it and not be offended. The products may work very well on other things.) Evelyn

Helped with my neuropathy pain

Only slight, temporary relief of tingling and numbness in feet. Can't say as to pain as I don't have that issue. Easy to apply and absorbs well. Rather expensive for so little effect. Cannot recommend.
