Used these pencils to mark out cuts on old railway sleepers , good thickness of markings very helpfull and very good sharpener as well.

No tube
Great pencils and have purchased these before as I selected “buy again” but slightly disappointed that it no longer comes with the tube that holds them. Being plastic it could take a beating at work being put where ever the cardboard holder isn’t going to last two minutes. Not a deal breaker but need to change the advert as clearly not as it shows.

A good set of pencils...
A carpenter pence should always be sharpened with a knife so the pence sharpener is a gimmick just like all aftermarket carpenter pencil sharpeners. However, for the price, you are getting some pretty good pencil that marks wood very well and has a good amount of lead in them. I have been working with wood for over 40 years and have to say there is nothing wrong with these pencils for the price.

Pencils are pencils, sharpener is pointless and useless
Pencils are fine, they’re carpenters pencils so not much more to say. The sharpener is almost useless. It can’t sharpen the pencils to any kind of useable point so you end up having to finish them off with a knife or chisel. Save yourself some money and just buy some pencils and sharpen them the old fashioned way.
