I bought these lighters to use with a traditional tobacco pipe. The angle of the flame works quite well and making adjustments was super simple (it was nice not having to track down a tiny screwdriver to change the flame). Also, these filled easily and did not require any special tips for the butane. So far, they are working great and look super nice. Getting two unique styles for the price of one was a huge bonus!! Not sure on the battery life as I have not had them long enough to comment however based on the quality of the other lighter aspects, I suspect they will last.

bought for a pocket lighter, for various uses around the farm, works when i need it, however the lock mechanism does not hold as well as i like, has been a few times that i pull out of my pocket and was empty due to sitting on the switch and letting the gas out, i modified it to be spring loaded into the lock position and has not happened since. i would buy this again , but, i think it would be better if the lock was designed better.

My husband uses these mini torches for a variety of small projects. He loves them. Will reorder as needed.

Been using one flawlessly for a few years, got the other out of storage and it just sprays lighter fluid when trying to fill.

At first I was kinda scared of the quality of this 2 mini torches, BUT LET ME TELL YOU !!!!Love the quality it feels great on my hand and the design of the mini torches a great for the price !!!!And they might me mini !!!! But strong power !!! I was amazed!!!! And in love when I first used it !!!! I even have a little case for the mini torch !!!!!!Love it !!!! Súper recomendable product !!!!!!!

The thumb ignitor locks by pushing it up with your thumb. This function works fairly well when locking it so it can not be depressed and prevent accidentally torching something unintended. HOWEVER, Any safety provided by this feature disappears when placing the lighter on any surface with even minimal force and the thumb trigger falls back down into place and is now ready foruse by any passing toddler.THIS IS NOT THE REAL PROBLEM WITH THESE LIGHTERS... once you have depressed the thumb ignitor, your thumb has a natural tendency to preform this action with a slight upward movement as your knuckle extends and more often then not this locks the flame ON. If you fail to realize that you have unintentionally locked the flame in this position and toss it aside, place it anywhere, do anything but continue to hold the lighter in an upright position... you've got yourself one major fire hazard nightmare... unless you're an arsonist. (Also, only one would fill/accept butane and so is useless and the other one only filled enough to use 4 or 5 times twice now and will no longer fill or accept any butane and has joined its cheap plastic friend in the garbage.

I was worried after reading some of the reviews, but glad I didn’t listen to some of them. It comes with a 1 year warranty and 8 month free replacement but only if you activate the warranty which I did! They seem very well made and are heavier than expected but very nice. I had no problem filling them and they both worked just fine, I just received them today so if they don’t last I’ll come back and add to this review but so far so good. Very happy with my purchase 😊

It’s kinda difficult and messy to fill but the main problem is the fire doesn’t stop once you let go of the button. It’s not like it’s getting stuck in the lock position it just keeps pumping out fuel and doesn’t shut off immediately. I had to blow out the torch to get it to turn off. Don’t recommend these even though they look cool.
