I bought this string to play with my cat. Sounds odd I know, but he loves to chase a length of it tied to a short cane. My only criticism is that it is thinner than I would have liked, but that is a personal thing. It is strong, clean, and does the job, ( flossing his teeth in the process ). I change the piece of string every day, and as the roll is a decent size, is lasting quite well.

Very strong string, I use it for craft projects. Value for money.

This is the right string for trussing eg boned turkey legs. Looks thin but is strong. For heavier rolled joints I would double up the individual lengths.

It maybe thin but very strong. For Christmas I prepared 3 x 3 bird roast and used Amazon butcher string it held the birds together really well all the way to being carved. Proving value for money, it's fitness for use, and hidden from view by its colour when presented.

So many uses in the kitchen!

This stuff is thin and snaps easily. Fine if you’re just trussing a chicken and you don’t need much tension but bad if you need something tight like a rolled joint. After several snappages trying to tighten up a greasy porchetta I had to triple-up the cord for each tie when my expectation would be that one cord would be sufficient. It isn’t. They snap. It drove me bonkers. My instinct was to give zero stars, such was my rage at the time, but perhaps that's unfair on the assumption that they are food safe (made in china so no way to tell if that claim is accurate) and after tripling it up they do seem to be holding up.
