Triton Electric Shower Solenoid Coil (Fits all Electric and Power Showers)

My Triton Seville shower that's 5 years old stopped working. It had power but there was no "thud" when it turned it so i was sure the solenoid had given up. Order this solenoid and turned off the water and the power and then pulled out the old, pushed on the new and re connected the power. Turned on the water and power and voila, it now works again! For the price its great value, saved us £120 for a new shower and same again for the plumber. Really easy to fit, works a treat!

Our Triton shower just stopped, no water coming out but the power light was on so after googling I came across this. My fiancé is a qualified plumber although he’s no longer in the profession so he felt confident he could change the solenoid himself. Paid for 2 day delivery but the item actually came next day by Royal Mail guaranteed by 1pm post - excellent service as there’s only so long you can go without a shower! Came with instructions which were easy to follow but we watched a YouTube video for our actual model just to have a visual instruction which was helpful too. Was an easy job taking no longer than 10 minutes start to finish and the shower now works as good as new! Pretty sure if we’d gotten someone round the probably would’ve said to replace the whole unit so I know this saved us hundreds of pounds! Thank you so much! Has been working brilliantly for the last 2 years. It fit perfectly - used a qualified electrician. It meant that I didn't need to replace the shower. Definitely value for money.

Fantastic service, and a great replacement for original solenoid. Installation took only a few minutes and after waterleak checks and final electrical tests the shower was back up and running. Prior to installation the shower would randomly work, now it instally turns on and water running through shower. I actually believe this solenoid works better that the original when it was working correctly.. reasons for believing this are the shower never instantly pumped water when turned on, it took at least a second to get running water, now it's instant with no delay. Two warnings: 1. Check for leaks prior to finalising the installation, if you don't check and the shower is leaking internally the new solenoid will fail again, so please do checks to verify there is no leaks. 2. If you don't know what your doing, get a professional to install, remember water and electricity do not mix. Don't take any risks.

Solenoid was delivered promptly, was replaced easily, and worked properly. But the dripping shower still remained, which I then traced to the valve above the solenoid (which the instructions say is often another point of failure) I unscrewed the valve cover, cleaned it and ran the shower for a few minutes. It now shuts off properly. I had recently had some work done on the plumbing, and it seems that a couple of small spots of solder in the pipework had found their way into the flow valve and stopped its gaskets functioning properly.

I've used to replacing my shower every couple of years as they seem to have obsolescence built in. I bought this part for a Triton T80i easy fit that was just outside its 2 year guarantee. Initially I had only researched the genuine part at a cost of approx. £36 and deemed this uneconomical and went out and bought a Mira shower as a replacement. Its only when I got home and done some further research on forums that I came across this part. The part arrived within the specified time frame and came with fitting instructions. Fitting it was incredibly easy and the part ordered was identical even down to the manufacturer of the original part. I'm really happy with the cost and ease of replacement. If your shower has power but no water flow or runs for a few minutes then stops flowing this is probably the solution for you too.

Alot cheaper than buying from triton itself, simple to install and only took a few minutes and now the shower is working like new.
