CND Vinylux Long Wear Nail Polish (No Lamp Required), 15 ml, Orange, Desert Poppy

I love this system from CND. Colour is beautiful and lasts well with the topcoat

I cleaned my nails and nourished them with Jojoba oil ,then sat and let it sink in for half an hour. I found the brush to be very full. A good shape to it but you do need to take of excess varnish prior to application and ensure the brush is properly shaped. First coat appeared a little thin which was what I wanted. Do not apply the 2nd coat until the first one is FULLY dry. One of my nails wasn't dry and it dragged with the 2nd coat which meant I had to remove it and reapply. When both coats fully dry I applied a thin top coat ensuring that I had capped the nail properly to seal the colour. My nails are very weak and brittle so I have to be sure to do this. Day 3 and the first little chips have appeared but better than some varnishes that I have tried. Colour Desert Poppy matched the displayed colour accurately. Friends have commented on the colour and look of the varnish. I am happy

The colour is too orange and not coral. Bit watery and doesn’t stay on after 3 days.

This is without doubt one of THE best nail colour products ever! I would suggest buying a CND base coat as well as the top coat which you have to buy for the system to work; as the base coat really does pelrecent yellowing of the nails

What's happened to the brush on the Vinylux polish? It used to be a lovely curved soft long brush that made it so easy to apply. The bottle I received had a stiff, short, hard brush and the bottle had black logo instead of the previous silver logo embossed bottle. The colour is fantastically bright orange which is what I wanted, but the brush makes it so difficult to apply I am not willing to both re-applying and likely to chuck the bottle...or complain to Amazon/CND about this product. CND are not cheap, and you expect the quality you pay for. Not a happy customer on this purchase.

Desert Poppy ColourFabulous. Why Cant I buy it in Guernsey, and why can’t post it to me

I've always had short, thin nails and regular polish never stays on, it either chips or completely peels off, no matter what brand. I've had this Vinylux on almost a week & pleased to report no chips. However, its a very thin consistency so I had to apply 4 coats to build up the colour as it's quite transparent, hence why I didn't award it 5 stars. Saying that i will still buy from this range again but will select a darker colour next time to hopefully overcome that.
