Easy to use
Nice size screen. Large touch pad buttons make it easy to operate. Not yet used it in anger, but the functionality appears to be very good. I don't know yet if it displays actual speed as my old Sat Nav did. Looks like a good quality product. Would not hesitate to buy from Amazon warehouse again.

Mio Sirit 7670 Truck Unreliable Safety Camera Alerts
I bought this Spirit 7670 LM Truck sat nav to replace my ageing mio Spirit 697 LMTruck. It is very similar but with a different on off switch and a bigger map strorage capacity so that it is possible to load up with all the European maps where the 697 Truck struggled. Apart from that it performs pretty much like my 697 Truck did for the 5 years I used it inthe UK and Europe. My main concern with the Spirit 697 LMTruck was its Truck mode which required close attention to avoid taking me and my caravan down lanes which I considered unsuitable. In every other respect my Spirit 697 LM Truck performed extremely well. Quick to latch onto gps, good choice of routes (when not in Truck mode), held its gps signal well, provided assistance with parking and reliable safety camera audio and visual alerts. I could go on but I think readers will understand that it did a good job. My replacement Spirit 7670 Tr9uck by comparrison is slower to latch onto gps and while it seems to do the same navigation job as the Spirit 697 Truck it is let down by its unreliable safety camera audio and visual alerts function. Some cameras are detected some are not even when approaching the cameras at or near the speed limit and this applies to fixed and combined safety cameras and red light cameras as well. 50mph cameras are not detected at all. Mio tell me that they have recently changed their safety camera data supplier and this may account for the deterioration in the reliabity of the facility. Either way it has left me disatisfied and regretting parting with my 697 Truck which served me so well. I expected my new 7670 Truck device would perform at least as good as my old 697 Truck but it doesn't.

Very good money value !!!!!
I had this sat Nav for over a month changing from TomTom and I was a little skeptical at the beginning but the price ( half the price of the TomTom) but nicely surprised by how good it is, is thinking very fast and you had lots of options on it the only fault that I can find is that the display is not as bright but is something what I can leave with... so for the money what I spend on it 5* , brilliant device, highly recommend!!!

The Worst Electronic Product I have Ever Bought
I cannot say anything good about this Satnav. When it worked (which it did for several hours) the screen was faint and dangerous to read when driving in bright sun because I had to peer closely at it. It broke down (no screen) after my first long journey. The website and email backup is truly dreadful- about a one in three chance that you will get a reply. Eventually it was repaired and lasted about ten minutes before the fault returned. I have just spent half an hour trying to get the website to despatch an email to Mio, but they seem to have made sure they don't get too many complaints and queries by disconnecting the Send button on the contact screen.I WAS an enthusiast for their products (I owned two of their SATNAVS previously, but they seem to have completely lost the plot.

Good for the value
Good for the value, had some missing bridges. On average having truck mode make this model a budget option. Go for more expensive models if you want a better product. This one fits it purpose, value and easy to use.

Misdirects you onto minor roads
It was meant to provide a more selective routing solution, but it does exactly the same as other SatNavs and often misguides you along the wrong roads. Example, driving along a main road it took us on a detour across a bend of the main road but along a small country lane - that took longer than staying on the main road all the way!It does not offer a feature to 'stay on the main roads' as had been intimated in the sales literature.Very disappointed that it is no better than a NavMan bought 6 years ago!

The Mio Spirit provides a lot of technology for your money
Very easy to set up. Route directions are very clear. Speed camera warnings are very clear. I like that the sat nav starts up and shuts down by itself without having to remember to switch it off. Map and speed cameras are free lifetime updates.
