More about stories than anything
This book has several recipes that offer a variety of different meals, I started following it and would pick and choose which meals sounded best. There are a few problems with the book. First I wish it had a section where you could exchange things i.e exchange salmon for chicken. I think this would be helpful if someone had an allergy or if a certain food doesn't sit well in their stomach. Another thing is some recipes ask for canned foods, which canned foods tend to have preservatives and sky high sodium. This can be very unhealthy it also doesn't give you much info about how to eat healthier just meals to make. The ingredients are sometimes on a long list and for a strapped budget this isn't it, it's nice but you could probably find something better online.

Could have provided more detailed information
Not really enough information to really get started. Only a few chapters of "how to" and the rest is receipes. I wouldn't reccomend this as the first Biggest Loser book to read. I realize that the actual plans used by the trainers our closely guarded trade secrets, but I would have liked more detail about foods and changing habits and less receipes.

Need to have more time to actually do this diet plan
I bought this book for the menu plan because I find I do better with a more structured diet plan that tells me exactly what to eat & I love trying new recipes. Unfortunately it is not geared toward a working woman living in a small town. The recipes are a bit much to realistically do when you work full time & some of the ingredients are hard to find in my area. Would love to try it if I had more time.

Biggest Loser 6 Weeks to a Healthier You
I absolutely love this book and have used it several times. It has excellent information about exercise and diet, as well as a day by day meal plan and and recipes. This is a yummy way to get you started to a new way of eating and stay that way. It will help you lose weight and exercise to keep it off. Love, love, love it!!

Excellent
I was hesitant about getting on this program thinking this was just more TV hype. Reluctantly, I got 'with the program'.26 pounds melted away and I've kept it off. For all those folks who want some special trick to weight loss and healthy diets and expect to find it in a pill or prepackaged meals--you are wasting your time. THIS PROGRAM WORKS. PERIOD.

Possibly it is my fault and I purchased the wrong book. I wanted to get a diet plan to loose weight. I am still reading it, but it looks like a book about the contestants and they ways they lost weight. I has a six week meal plan with recipes. Good book otherwise, depending on what you are looking for.

Disappointing
The majority of the book is anecdotes and recaps of contestants from the show. There are a couple of pages of instruction (dietary, nutrition and fitness) for every dozen or so pages of recap. I bought this book for the dietary guidance not to revisit all the contestants from the show. Very disappointing.

viele Tipps, aber nichts für Vegetarier
Das Buch ist schnell angekommen und ich finde die Fitness-Tipps und genrell die Hinweise gut... leider sind die Gerichte nicht unbedingt was für Vegetarier... wobei man durch selber ausprobieren die angegebenen Gerichte sehr gut an den eigenen Geschmack anpassen kann...
