Got exactly what I was expecting
There are several of these rolling stools on Amazon so I basically just picked the lowest cost one; assuming it was more or less the same product. The reviews here are basically on point:Pro:- Sturdy construction- Good wheels- Easy to assemble- Rolls around smoothlyCons:- One of the two trays doesn't seat/fit fully but it's an easy fix with with a screw, velcro, or adhesive. Definitely annoying but I can't complain since this was half the cost of a "name brand" version- The holes for the wheels are a bit smaller than the standard ones used for most office chairs. So if you upgrade the wheels, plan to drill the holes a little wider. Not a huge deal and I plan to do this because I love smooth skate wheels on everythingI definitely don't regret going with this listing/branding versus the name brand one that looks almost identical. I use this to work in my garage and wash the car. It's saved my back and knees!

Cheap & Breaks easily.
Normally I do not make a habit of writing product reviews but with this I absolutely had to. Mind you, I'm a 26+ year special purpose & robotics machine builder. In other words, I absolutely know the distinction of quality engineered and built products vs poorly designed & cheap.Let's get started.First, original item ordered never even showed up and then replaced with an additional shipment of another. Should of been the first sign now that I think ack on it.This rolling mechanics seat is majority molded plastic that snaps together like a kids toy and held in place with a few pieces of hardware.Load capacity says 200LBS. In the real world engineers generally factor in somewhere around 30% safety factor (by design) for loads. I'm 6'1 188lbs and after having this seat for a couple of months with MAYBE 3 hours of actual use on it it has already broken. Literally snapped as I was sitting on it and drilling some holes into a machine frame.Should of known better then to purchase a blow molded plastic mechanics seat. This particular product by all means is heavily over priced for the material, construct & reliability. If I had to guess, likely cost around $8 - $13 to manufacture.Stick with the old-school steel frame rollers.

Wrong threads, when will the supplier get back to me about the missing square protectors?
The basic unit is now assembled and appears sturdy enough. However, the assembly was difficult since the female fasteners for the 4 castors would not work. I had to re-tap the female threads with a 10mm x 1.5 tap to get the assembly to work. I suspect that the female threads were not correct and did not allow for the chrome thickness. I also did not receive two of the square protectors for the lower legs. How can I reach someone in the company to get these two protectors before I cut my shins in these sharp square tubing edges?

I love it
Context: I wrap cars and install graphics so I use it for low angles and lettering doors and such.Let’s start off with it’s all metal. The wheels, cup holder and seat I think are the only thing not Metal. It’s also kinda sturdy. I clock in at 180lbs and I’ve stood on it, The four wheels make that possible. can’t do that with the old three wheel but not really supposed to do that period. The draws are a good depth hold tools emergency butterfingers I wanna say it’s 2 inches deep and open in opposite directions which I personally feel is a nice touch. When you close it you feel it “lock” into place so it doesn’t slide open. On our raw shop floor it’s moves good the wheels are hard plastic I’m sure on an epoxy floor or hybrid shop floor I’m sure it will slide across that like water off a dolphins back. Now the few cons not big but worth mentioning. The draws “lock into place but with mine at a certain point it gets stiff. The directions are printed kind of small making it a little tough to see what’s going on? The Allen key stripped cause I gorillad the bolts in. The cup holder stinks! Since I have access to the good double stick tape that took care of that problem I also added the big gulp cup holder adapter to hold my spray bottles.Overall: not many complaints. For the price, as long as you don’t need it taller it’s a hell of a bargain just for having draws alone. Not sure it would work for mechanics maybe as fair as my field I think it’s perfect

Works well
Smooth action, well built, casters big enough to easily roll across rough floor. Separate compartments allow for easy separation of tools and hardware. No problem with stabili.
