Buyer Beware.
Product not suitable for French television channels. That was the reply from the support team ( after two weeks) hence I cannot use it here in France. Too late to return but hopefully I can use it in England when on vacation. French television changed there transmission system TNT in April 2016 to co-inside with HD channels.

A must-have for iPad owners.
Marvellous, as with my other Elgato EyeTV units. I bought this one for my new 12.9" iPad Pro. Installation was easy and it performed beautifully. Thoroughly recommended.

Eye TV on a Mini iPad.
Excellent bit of kit which works, I can't always get a good signal in every location but 90% of the time it is good, can't really blame the unit for poor signal in different locations i guess! Once the app is downloaded it is very easy to use, I use in on a mini iPad.

Bought this as a Christmas present so only set it up and not explored full functionalityUsing it on an iPad mini and App installation and tuning was straightforwardInstructions in German but it's so straightforward you don't really need them, and the App probably has guidance in English anywayUsing it in a summerhouse and when tested the image and sound on all channels (I think it tuned in about 120) was fine. Some image loss at times but it's just a matter of finding the best spot for the aerial and which of the two aerials supplied is best.So far so good.
