I did not come in the original packaging but it was packaged very well. It cooked half a leg of lamb in 40 minutes and I could not believe my eyes. Normally it takes 5 hours to cook in the oven. Such a time saver, you can make 3 different meals in an hour. It is really safe to use, you are not able to open the lid if there is still pressure in the cooker. Instruction guide is very clear so you can understand do's and don'ts easily. Pressure cooker's steel is 18/10 which means it is best grade of steel for health. Long story short, it deserves every penny you spent.

We bought a 4.5 litre Fissler Vita quick pressure cooker from a german supplier Neuret and received the product very promptly,and well packaged.The Fissler is a superb German technology, efficient, user friendly, easy to clean and with some helpful safety features too. Its capacity is more than adequate for us, a family varying between 2 to 6 people; it takes a little getting used to since we use it for regular cooking of rice where exact timing is essential to get a perfect result. The pressure cooker saves time, energy and preserves the taste and quality of food very well. We enjoy using it.

This is the second FISSLER Pressure Cooker we have had. First one purchased in Kaufhaus, Frankfurt 12 years ago and has been perfect and still is! Keeping as a spare to compliment this new one which has already proved its worth. There is no doubt in my mind that FISSLER are simply the best, German Engineering perfection.

A great pressure cooker and much better than the whistling ones we've had before. Ideal for Indian cooking - and very fast too.

Its a big name on definitely quality products but there is something wrong about lid but still happy to get it,quick and taster food

I have bought second time for my house overseas.It is important to keep its sealing ring clean after use. We never washed lid and sealing ring in dishwasher.

Stopped building pressure after 3 years of very light use. It has so many small parts, which often go missing easily after cleaning.Cleaning the lid is a chore, you have to unscrew 2 the handle, the valve, the valve has a number of small pieces, then the gasket, then you have to make sure nothing goes missing.Fissler support has been unhelpful, they want me to buy tons of replacement parts, but without even diagnosing the problem accurately.I feel like they just want me money in return for a product that is very costly to maintain properly.
