I usually like Kenra products, their hair gel and texturizing paste are great, but I LOVE this deep conditioner. I used it on my 7 year old’s very frizzy, tangly hair, and the difference was amazing. We first washed with the Kenra clarifying shampoo, then applied this mask for just over 5 minutes. After rinsing, her hair came out soft, smooth, shiny, and super easy to brush through (which is not usually the case!). I’m especially happy with how well it detangled her hair.. this will definitely be a staple in our routine. Will be adding a photo once her hair dries to show the results! Highly recommend.

My hair... Is a pain. It is fine, colored and a pain to get a comb through after washing. Unless gobs of post-color conditioner is used. Then it needs washing again right away. If it's left to dry on its own, it frizzes a bit. It has almost no body and won't hold a style without coercion. Grrr. But - it's what I have, and I try to be grateful I have hair. Some women do not. I tried to describe my hair type in detail, because I know all products do not suit all hair. YMMV (your mileage may vary). I saw a review for this product on YouTube and the gal that was using it there admitted she is having a love affair with Kenra products these days. But she was so enthusiastic about it, I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. I followed the instructions on the jar, plus what the other gal had said - after washing my hair, I squeezed out the water as much as possible. Then got a bit out of the jar and rubbed it between my hands. The amount you may have to gauge over several uses. My hair is shoulder-length and I used about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon, I think. It seemed like a lot, I am used to using a pea-size amount of really concentrated stuff. I am working this down a bit to find the right amount that still gets the job done. Then I applied it to the ends first (most damaged), rubbing my hair between my hands. Then rubbed it in closer to the roots. I left it on at least 5 minutes, then rinsed thoroughly. It felt really silky and a bit like I had not rinsed it all out, but I was sure I had. I figured I could always wash it again, so went ahead and blow-dried. OMG. My hair was soooooo silky. I couldn't stop touching it. I flat-ironed it nice and straight and I was done. The best part was, it lasted through at least two more shampoos before I felt like I might need to do it again. Most conditioners only last until the next wash. This jar, if used weekly, should last for months. Even if you do about 1/2 teaspoon a week, it should last 6-7 months. I will definitely purchase again! Edited on 6/21/12 - I had used the product 2-3 times when I wrote the review, and have used it a couple more times since. I am still loving it!! I just dried my hair after using it again and it is just silky as can be. I did do one thing differently this time - after applying it, I put on one of those cheapo clear plastic shower caps - you know, the ones that come in a 10 pack for a couple bucks at the beauty supply store. I did this mainly so i could finish my shower while waiting for it to work, and not accidentally dilute or wash it out early while trying to dodge the sprayer. It came out great! I noticed this time I probably used a good 1/2 tsp at least. I guess I should try a measuring spoon, lol. But I think it's well worth the price. WELL worth it. I may have a love affair with Kenra products, too!

This hair masque is great. I usually apply it after swimming. I first use a shampoo to strip the chlorine out of my hair and then I use Kenra Nourishing Masque to rehydrate my hair. It leaves my hair feeling very soft and silky and I cannot tell that I had just been in swimming. A bonus is it smells really good!

Would buy it a thousand times! The best hair mask my hair always gets compliments after I use it! Actually works strengthens your hair and doesn’t just leave it feeling greasy!

I absolutely LOVE this conditioner! I use it for the last 6 inches or so of my hair then whatever is left on my hands I put on the rest of my hair.

Using this deep conditioner, my dry, damaged, frizz-prone hair becomes soft and supple, holds a style better, and has more movement. It doesn't tangle. It smells subtly pleasant. Combined with thermal-brush styling, my hair has a healthy looking sheen and luster. This brand, in general, has never failed me. I am a long-time user of this deep conditioner and the super-hold hairspray. I recently strayed and tried another deep conditioner from Amazon that has thousands of high reviews. I am back to Kenra again, and again.
