Introduced to this brand when we were with our German friends, Weleda has become a staple in our house from handcream to face moisturizer. While their handcream can be almost excessively thick, perfect for those dry winter months, I was looking for something lighter for my face, that would provide moisture without any additional greasiness. I love this product, it’s very hydrating and light. I’m also a skin care professional so I like to read the ingredients. It does have quite a lot of alcohol and it smells of it but my skin doesn’t mind it. It’s great for retinol users like myself to replenish the moisture.

It’s not meant for dry skin as advertised. It’s nice products. Pricey for the amount of product in the package.

My friends in Europe recommended this moisturizer and I finally ordered it. It came in a box AND FULLY sealed (I had to peel the foil) which is very important. Light texture but feels nourishing, absorbs in seconds and has a nice light scent. My skin is soft but not sticky. I have sensitive skin/rosacea and no issues. It doesn’t have SPF and it’s fine because I use it at night too since most night creams are too greasy for me. I’m very happy with this product!
