My father needed a better portable radio. This thing picks up his favorite radio stations way better than his previous one. I didn't realize it had a built-in speaker which sounds amazing for it's size.

This is the best transistor radio I've ever had. It is a very small radio with an unnecessary antenna. It has a clock, 2 alarms, and a 90 minute timer and AM/FM. You can preprogram 10 stations on each band. There are no batteries to change because it has a long lasting rechargeable battery. It is equipped with an ear phone jack and a button to lock all buttons while sitting in your pocket. It has great reception. I couldn't be happier.

Nice little radio. Seems to have good reception. The buttons on the top are a little too close together and I have piano fingers. The power button isn't. You have to set a certain mode then press power. But for the money it's a good value.

Don't waste data listening at your desk! This is an amazing radio. Small and impact with an impact! Able to enjoy my music with my earbuds at my desk. Full enjoyment without disturbing cubicles around me.

Was hoping to carry this in my EDC bag to listen to baseball games at work, and have in case of emergencies. It arrived partially charged, but I have not been able to charge it since. I tried both the included cable, as well as others, but its just dead. Waste of money, do not recommend.

I bought this at the start of summer to replace my older, smaller pocket radio. To be honest, I probably would've returned it if the window hadn't already closed, but overall, it gets the job done. The battery life is great, and I like that it has an external speaker so you can still listen without headphones. Pretty often, though, the reception is spotty and I've noticed certain stations won't play (I've tested simultaneously inside my car, so I know it wasn't the station itself). I personally like to use these to run, but the bulkier size of this one doesn't make it ideal for that (but that's just a personal preference). This is probably better for sitting out somewhere like on the beach or hiking.

My eight-year-old daughter has been asking for a portable radio. She has reached the time when she is unwilling to put up with Daddy's old music and Mommy's talk radio. She is ready to explore on her own and wants her own things. I thought this was a completely reasonable request, so I bought her this radio based on decent reviews and the large digital clock readout on the face.Because of her age, I gave it to my little girl and told her it was up to her to read and use the instructions. At 8, she is working on reading comprehension skills and, also, developing patience with complex tasks. By the end of the day, she had the radio charged, programmed, the clock set and was listening to her favorite radio station. I asked if she had set an alarm - she decided she didn't need one for anything, but she did look at the feature.Based on our experience so far, I think this is a pretty nice product. It seems fairly tough. It is easy to use. It has a nice range of features without trying to pack in too much. The buttons are a little small for me, but for smaller hands they are fine. The earbuds work well - I did offer to upgrade them but she has declined.This radio has become my daughter's new travel companion. It is holding up well under everything she can throw at it. The whole family is quite pleased with the experience.
