Guardian Angel 40g (Sick Bird Supplement) - The Birdcare Company

I don't tend to write reviews but this product is amazing. Our budgie started tail bobbing about 3 weeks ago and gradually got worst and just looked very unhappy and not healthy didn't want to fly or sing. We initially thought it might be hormones as they are both young birds and looked like they are females and they did bickered a bit at the time. As Kiki was getting worst and they are not hand tame I thought rather than the stress of taking it to the wets we try this first. After a week what a difference! As it turned out in past two weeks they are not and girl and Kiki (boy) after a week of having this wonder elixir is happier than ever tail bobbing stopped he started flying arround the house again and just came back to his old cheerful self. It is amazing! We think he may have been deficient as they don't like fruit of vedge they feed on seeds mainly. We could not believe how much it helped in short space of time. It is truly amazing!

This stuff is amazing. I ordered it after my budgie was unwell puffed up and hanging off her swing with her eyes closed. Vets wouldn’t get back to me. I honestly thought she would be dead by the morning. I sprinkled it in her food and water and she picked up a bit straight away. She wasn’t eating or drinking much so the 2nd day I mixed a bit in water and gave it to her through a syringe. By the following morning she was no longer puffed up and started singing again. I continued with it for a few days just to make sure but it’s been over 4 weeks now and she’s back to normal 😁 forever grateful I came across this product!

my Quaker has been on antibiotics for a respiratory infection for two weeks and was slowly improving. I had heard lots of great things about guardian angel so decided to give it a try. gave it to him Friday night and by Saturday lunch time he was playing and chatting away like a totally different bird. defiantly worth having some available for when a bird is feeling unwell.

This is my first time using this, and I don't know if it still works on my budgie. Whenever I take something powdered, I pass it through a strainer, because there is always garbage that needs to be removed, and to be sure is nothing organic.

I held off reviewing this until I knew that it had actually helped my bird. She had been making abnormal high pitched noises for a while, and I noticed that her breathing was laboured with squeaking on every breath. With no avian vet anywhere near us, I decided to try this before putting her through the trauma of driving a long way to see a vet . It has been a good few weeks now and the noises have stopped, she is breathing normally again and is a lot more lively. She is in a cage with another bird who has showed no signs of any illness, so I don't know what was wrong but it only affected her and hasn't passed to the other bird. I'm just so glad that this helped her, she's back to her normal self again

This time last week my budgie was mostly sleeping, fluffed up and very moody, had lost 2 g in weight. Bought this....today I've spent most of the day having playtime and telling them to stop being naughty. Miraculous. Back to their normal self....

This guardian angel powder is brilliant incase you have birds especially if they become ill or sick it has ALL the essential nutrients if you bird stops eating seed... Best to mix as described in water and to ensure your birds healthy put it in their water once every 3 months to ensure they get any missing vitamins, minerals etc..thus keeping your birds healthy and in tip top condition...

Picture is just for attention, but my little budgie woke up terribly ill on Saturday morning, luckily on the Saturday I ordered this guardian angel after hearing about it for so long (wish I ordered it before), it arrived the Sunday evening. As you know budgies/birds don’t show sickness till they’re critical and most don’t last longer than 24/48 hours. I couldn’t get an avian vet until the Monday afternoon. All I know is this was sprinkled on my budgies seed (he ate very few) but here I am Monday evening writing this review. I don’t know if it was luck, this powder or a combination of both but he’s still here with me now. He’s on medication from the vets but I’m not sure if he’ll make it for much longer but this might be the answer you need. Maybe if I had this before he was ill then I could have treated him sooner, and we might be in a better place now. But he is alive and is fighting. Please don’t hesitate to buy this, and don’t be ignorant like I was thinking I’ll buy it at some point, buy it before you purchase your bird, have it ready and waiting…
