This is great it will fit any size of microSD card and is an easy and flexible way to expand memory without lugging around an external drive or paying over the top prices for a larger hard drive on an apple laptop. You need nails to get it out or use a thin knife blade or screwdriver but I rarely take mine out.

When inserted it blends in with surrounding aluminium case of my MacBook Pro, the micro sd adapter has a aluminium end cap.Have not had any issues, works perfectly

Does the job well but isn't quite flush with the side of the computer when fitted.

An excellent way of keeping storage off the hard drive, fits like a glove and consequently very discreet - all you need to do is to supply the mini sd card.

It is NOT easy to remove, but that is the point of it - stay in and do not stick out - I use it as extra 200GB storage extension for macbook pro model 2015 that still has SD-card slot. I feared it will disconnect and dismount on every suspend cycle, but these errors are very rare. I would not recommend install anything directly on SD-card, but as "external" storage for files (docs, photos, music etc) it works rather well

Tried it with a new Samsung micro SD and the fit is way too tight (MacBook Pro late 2013). The card expands the (plastic) reader vertically. Don’t know if it’s to do with modern micro sd’s being slightly bigger but no way I’d push it all the way in as I doubt it would come out again. Sending it back.
