I purchased 2 of these braces to wear during pickleball. It is my 4th type of brace to try solve post-play knee pain, and based on the first day they do help. Some of the elastic sleeve type cause my knees to pop excessively after I play, and the hinged type just feels to bulky. This seems to be a good balance between the two. I also tried a patellar brace which was okay, but I think either the hinge or this type works better. The side stabiliizers are better than the elastic sleeve type. The elastic strap does cut into the back a little bit, but can be adjusted for comfort, and I can move more easily than with the hinged type.

It's a decent item and will serve you well for maybe a year of use. Also, it's very good that it will fit a larger individual. However, if you get this, plan to replace it after training a bit; it's definitely useful and helpful and for what it is, it's good, however I can't give it a full 5 stars.

I'm an avid hiker with patellofemoral pain syndrome looking to increase my hiking range before the pain starts. I found these to work well functionally and stabilized my patella effectively, but they didn't feel comfortable at all. For short durations of use, it is fine, but with the straps crossing on the back of the knee, they start to rub and pinch when hiking for a few miles or wearing for a long time. I'd recommend wearing them over thin clothing if possible, but this isn't a good solution for my purposes.

I ordered this to get done knee pain relief. It is amazing for the price. Highly recommend.

Quality is good fit perfectly delivered fast

I love the fit of this brace as you can tighten it to your leg size. The added protection from the patella gel pad is comfortable. I tore my ACL and meniscus several years ago. I use this brace for hiking and pivot sports such as pickleball. The construction and material of the brace seem of higher quality without being expensive.My only complaint and why I gave 4 stars is that the Velcro stops working after some time. I am careful to fold the Velcro tabs over the ends when not in use and store it in such a way that the Velcro doesn't touch other fabrics but I still ended up needing a new brace just shy of a year because the Velcro fails to stick. The company responded quickly to my email requesting a longer-lasting Velcro system and shipped me a replacement brace. I hope the company improves the Velcro aspect of this brace.
