I really hate that most grinders for the devil's lettuce are aluminum! Many scientific studies have shown evidence that aluminum is very bad for us to consume--so I imagine smoking it is also a terrible idea. I was looking for a grinder for some homegrown green stuff and this little ceramic mushroom is not only flipping adorable but also the best wee grinder I've ever had! Hope these butterfingers manage to keep it safe for many years.

Allow me to share some insight. This is a great little grinder! I was looking for a medium-duty, tabletop grinder, something more *organic,* and I've found this to be a great solution. To this day, the tiny ceramic nubs keep impressing me. Sometimes it requires a little elbow grease, but she can grind the dankest, most dense nugs. The one thing for which you need a trick is *how to clean it out.* Material does get stuck in all grooves, and around the circumference too. But I've found that a wooden skewer stick is the absolute perfect tool for scraping-out those grooves. Just give it a snip to make it stubbier and stronger.
