This might be a good product. I don't know. The power cord they give you is around 1 foot in length, so if you don't have an outlet on a ceiling or in the exact vicinity you need it; you need to buy an additional tacky and unsafe extension cord.The unit is absolutely massive and obnoxiously bulky. Honestly this is more of a kids toy over a serious camera. Absolutely nothing discreet about this camera. It just invites home invaders to not only know where the location is, but the short power cord makes it even easier for them to disconnect the camera too.Poorly designed product. Should have been modified before hitting the market. I honestly couldn't recommend even if it is a good camera. The obnoxious size and extremely short power cord makes this a better candidate for the trash can then it does for home security.After finally buying a separate extension cord for the obnoxiously short power cord, and using it for a few days, what I've noticed is this.AI human detection is absolute garbage. You're better off manually doing it yourself. It will pick up on humans 1 to 3 out of 10 times. That's 10-30% of the time, it might be able to follow a person. So most of the time it's failing.To program it, it's not necessarily easy. I still haven't figured it out, and I don't think I'm going to waste my time. This product was cheap and rushed out to get you to hopefully impulsively buy it. I would never buy this again, and would hope anyone reading this review would avoid it.Will randomly flick on the ultra bright LED lights too. That's always fun to deal with in the middle of the night.The high definition too is a joke.>> Tried connecting the camera to the cloud, it completely crashed the camera. After trying to reinstall it, suddenly it had a password on it that I never set, making the camera literally useless. This entire camera, app, everything about this is crap. Amazon needs to remove it from the marketplace.

I put this camera up in my shop so I could keep an eye on my laser engraver. It was easy to install in the shop but it was a little trying to install on my phone. Make sure you pay attention to the WiFi distance. My camera is a few feet inside the parameters and the camera will drop the connection

I have 4 other types of cameras by Vstarcam and all work fine on my WEP network. This one WILL NOT and I don't see that in the description. You must have no security or WPA. I'll have to change every other camera to WPA now to use this one and believe me...that's a chore. Have to take them down and hook to LAN to modify wifi parameters. Wish me luck!UPDATE: I was contacted by Vstarcam and given a link to a utility that is supposed to configure the cameras to work with WEP. I've already swapped everything to WPA and I'm not doing all that again...so... MAYBE it will work if you download additional software. Good cameras once you get them set up. Set up is difficult if you haven't set up Vstarcams before.I'd suggest contacting Vstarcam and asking about CamFinder_1671700836 if you plan on using WEP. I have not used this and can not confirm that it even works.

It is really easy to get connected, just make sure to connect to 2.4G WiFi if you are not using a network cable. Lots of functions such as human tracking, etc. worth the price!

This is really a good product. Very easy to use. I am going to buy another one to monitor another corner of my house.

Great price for the super clear both day and night many extra which includes lights and flashing lights with siren.
