Works brilliantly, looks beautiful and yes, expensive for what can be done with my grotty old plastic juice squeezer …but I love it and it works really well with no effort at all. A luxury of course but worth it.

I got this after using one whilst holidaying in France, it is brilliant and does a great job.

I have bought my smeg juicer about 2 years ago. At first we were very happy, although it takes a little bit of effort to make few glasses of orange juice, the juicer looks beautiful on our kitchen. A while later we found out that we had a juicer from 'braun' that my mother in law left here, just then we realised how easy is to make a big jar of juice with this one. It's easy to find out what the difference is, basically the juicer from braun has a stiffer rotating top, and the one from smeg is smother, which makes it more difficult to make a few glasses of juice.I almost never leave a review, but I love the smeg products, and I truly hope that the rotating top can be improved. This way we will have aesthetics and functionality. :)

Brilliant juicer easy to clean you get what you pay for as it is very expensive

this juicer looks the part but that's as far as it goes. the base needs to be wider. the first time i used it i ended up with orange juice all over the worktop and down the front of the washing machine. the spout mechanism is so flimsy that if any pulp gets caught in the valve it is difficult to close it back up and hey presto - orange juice all over the worktop and down the front of the washing machine. the overall build quality feels cheap and is nowhere near the quality of an alessi. if you want a juicer, do yourself a favour and get an alessi.

It certainly work well and the drive and general build looks good, however the flap on the capture tray to drain the juice looks fragile, although I must admit it hasn't yet failed.

I absolutely love appliances that not only do a great job, but look fab in your home too. This does both! I find part at the front of the juicer impossible to get to and dry... but apart from that, it's easy to use and clean.. I love it!
