Sharp
Ever since I got this knife, I’ve never stopped using it. It’s sharp and the edges haven’t chipped or cracked yet. It’s constructed well the handle doesn’t wiggle or come out of place.

Super edge
Great steel that allows me to slice paper thin top round for Korean dishes and stir frys. Onions, vegetables, etm. are a breeze. Takes an edge well, too. This is another cookwear item of mine that will never see the inside of a dishwasher; it's too good.

Looks Like Fake Damascus Steel to Me and Poor Craftsmanship
I've always wanted a true Damascus Steel kitchen knife and this one was on my "Wish List". My wife surprised me with it for my birthday and I couldn't be much more disappointed. The layered pattern in the main part of the blade, simulating Damascus steel, isn't very convincing. The "folds" on the blade surface look acid etched. The high speed grinding, shaping and sharpening is bad. Sloppy grinding on the blade and handle left the tip and heal of the blade improperly shaped, with a somewhat of a rounded tip. The grinder marks on the handle rivets made the knife look like it came from a dirt floor workshop in some 3rd world country.I cannot recommend this knife. I sent mine back after an insulting exchange with the indignant seller.
