Tastes soooooo yum and full of health boosting shizzle
I’m a big fan of Kiki Health. I’ve been fortunate enough to use a lot of their products over the years and have implicit trust in their provenance and quality. This is such a big thing when it comes to the Wild West of supplements as there are so many out there that you could choose from. But these are one of the brands that I buy from myself and also recommend to my clients, as I am a nutritional therapist. This tastes absolutely dreamy. So good! Now. It does have sugar in it but this is coconut sugar so works differently (in a positive way) than other refined sugars. Because of this, you can simply add your favourite milk, which for me is tiger, nut milk and make it into a delicious, hot chocolate instantly. With the addition of Chaga mushroom, shiitake, wood ear mushroom, it offers a flavour, some nutritional punch. The only thing about this as I’m not sure that it would last that long in my house.Wondering and pondering out loud whether or not they do this in a larger size? 🤔

Great idea but too sweet
Disclosure. This is a review of a product I was sent for free via Vine. All opinions are my own.I mixed some with hot milk. It was a delicious drink, but far too sweet for me, although I couldn't identify any of the individual flavours. Without knowing, I would never have guessed that it contained three types of mushroom. When I looked at the ingredients and nutrition, I discovered that the second ingredient is coconut sugar and overall it is 70% sugars, which sounds incredibly excessive. Not sure how that can be the second ingredient, as I thought that ingredients are usually listed in descending size order. However I would much prefer a product without the coconut sugar at all.The full ingredients list is Organic Cacao Powder, Organic Coconut Sugar, Organic Wild Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) Mushroom, Organic Shiitake (Lentinula edodes*) Mushroom and Organic Auricularia (wood ear) (Auricularia auricula*) Mushroom. (*extracts from organic mushroom fruiting bodies). The product listing mentions that it boosts Immunity, Energy, Memory, Focus & Metabolism.Comes in a recyclable dark glass jar.Jar states it is organic, vegan, free from gluten and wheat, no artificial colours, preservatives, sweeteners or fillers. It is £14.96 for 105g which equates to about 71p per 5g serving, with the jar only holding 21 servings. I haven't compared against any other products but that sounds quite expensive to me.As well as a drink, it could alternatively be used in baking, but I believe it too expensive for that purpose.Long dated July 2027.

really tasty
We use Kiki Health products already, and some of them are supplements that my nutritionist recommends. This one is a powder containing cacao, coconut sugar and a collection of organic mushroom extracts that promise various health benefits. The bottle contains just over 100g of product which, at the recommended serving size, makes 15-20 drink servings. This may not seem a lot but it's on a par with the cacao and hot chocolate drinks I have bought before which need much more powder to be used than this does. This drink seems fairly economical to make in view of that.It tastes good, and it contains mushrooms. We like it.

Another great supplement from Kiki Health
I discovered this brand last year, and already have quite a few of their products, so was very keen to try this organic mushroom cacao powder. Kiki Health is an independent, British-based, ethical company, and this product is organic, with no preservatives, artificial colours, sweeteners or fillers. I also like the packaging - a glass jar with a screw top metal lid, so fully recyclable.I've never been able to drink hot chocolate, not even as a child, as it's far too sweet for me - and often full of additives too. However, I thought this mushroom cacao powder would be great to add to my morning porridge. I ring the changes all the time by adding different seeds and dried fruits - and in recent times, I have also had a row of jars of Kiki Health powders to choose from. I added a teaspoon of this mushroom cacao powder to an apricot and sunflower seed porridge - and it was absolutely delicious. Much as I love mushrooms, and appreciate all the health benefits that this extract provides, I was pleased not to be tasting it in a sweetish breakfast porridge. The overall taste of my porridge was of chocolate, or rather cacao, which I prefer to most chocolate, as it has a lovely rich flavour, without being too sweet. Who knows, I may even be tempted to try making an alternative hot chocolate now!Kiki Health supplements are always rather expensive, and this one particularly so as you only get a small 105g bottle. Also, as another reviewer has pointed out, the bottle is quite hard to get a teaspoon into. However, using it as I do, it will probably last me a good length of time - given that I have quite a selection of Kiki Health supplements to choose from now!

Nice Organic Mushroom Extract Cacao Powder. 🍄
This is a 105g jar of Organic Mushroom Extract Cacao powder.I think that it has a pleasant taste to drink and is easy to mix.The jar makes this more pricey than other sellers. I like it apart from the price. 🍄
