This is a good product overall. The vinyl is thick. I've never seen a similar product anywhere else. The cover that this replaced lasted for years and was nowhere near as thick as this one. I'm certain this can take some pretty serious abuse from kids, hot plates, writing, boxes, sewing machines, repairs, hammers and all the other types of crazy activities we subject our kitchen table to year after year. The only downside is that there are some deep creases showing in the vinyl in the beginning, so it just doesn't lay flat. But it is getting better and better every day. I lay a hot, flat bowl of oatmeal I have recently microwaved on each crease and uneven section every day and it keeps getting flatter and flatter and less noticeable. I think it will get even better on really hot summer days. The thick vinyl just needs some time to settle down on a flat surface whereas previously I suspect for years it sat tightly folded in a bag in a hot warehouse. You may have to flip it a couple of times to flatten out those uneven sections. A major plus is that it is super-easy to clean. For the first few days it was a little smelly. I wiped down both sides really good with my favorite all-natural surface cleaner and the stink went away a lot faster. It's a bit of a project to get this right, but I think the end results from this product will be fantastic and worth purchasing.

I bought this because our brand new table was being scratched. This thing is thick, so thick you have to flatten the sides! It cleans easily and folds up well when we are having a gathering!

I am thrilled to find a 9 ft. Round plastic covering to go over my tablecloth. It prevents me from having to continually wash my tablecloth after every meal. The only negative is the creases. I can’t use this for a formal dining experience because it looks a bit tacky. I will need to look at ideas for getting out the creases.

It has a very bad smell when you first open it, and dust gets everywhere. The smell fades after a few days, but the creases stay no matter how hard you try to remove them. Food stains easily as well.

I bought this for my mom and it looks great over her tablecloth. The thickness is good and so worth with the money. It’s easy to wipe clean and it feels great.
