I’ve had a variety of suction bowls and mats over the years. We fell in love with ezpz with my first kiddo. We’ve broken them out to use with baby number two, and while they work well with a spoon, my independent little one struggles to grab things from the slick, smooth surface of the ezpz ones. When I discovered these Bumpkins sensory placemats, I had to try them and - yay! They are perfect! My little one is able to grab his pieces of slippery food off the textured surface with ease and is so much happier at mealtime. It also has an AWESOME amount of suction, and the design of the edge makes it nearly impossible for baby to pull it up. I will say it’s a bit floppy which makes it kind of funky in the dishwasher, but we’ve yet to have any issues with getting it clean and keeping it in good condition. Wish I’d known about this mat with my first kiddo!

This silicone placement is awesome and it is super cute! It has cute little designs on it, your baby can run their fingers over it and get some sensory play time while they are eating. It feels like great quality. It stuck to my baby’s high chair really well. I love that you can put food directly on it, or you can use a bowl/plate with it as well. It’s dishwasher safe which I absolutely love! I would definitely recommend this product!

I’ll start off by saying I like this placemat a lot. The suction on the bottom works well, and it almost fully attaches to the insert that sits on top of the highchair tray. It’s a tad bit big, but it still stays put. It will definitely fit on the tray itself when we choose to not use the insert.I like that we can still suction a plate or bowl on top of this placemat in the center or use it by itself. The rainbow design is cute, and the different sensory elements are raised enough to pique the little one’s curiosity.The raised edge is nice and helps keep the food on the placemat. Even better is the design of the tapered slope of the outer edge. This makes it more difficult for the little one to grasp and pull the mat.Overall, I recommend this placemat. I am glad I chose it!

The sticks very well to the high chair, even though it doesn’t have any sections on the back, it doesn’t move or slide and it is actually kind of hard to get up even for me which is a good thing if you have kids that like to grab things, this would be really good for a little baby just starting out that you don’t want to put a lot of food on the plate if you have an older kid, I would not suggest this it’s still a really nice plate

I really like this placemat. It keeps babies engaged during mealtime with the interesting texture and it is made of silicone, so it is considered safe. It is very easy to clean and it encourages tactile development. I recommend it!

The silicon is supposed to be white but it's got dark gray swirls all over it that doesn't wash off.☹️

Our baby is learning to feed herself and this mat has been coming in handy. It’s super easy to clean and convenient to travel with. She also enjoys just playing with the mat when it’s not being used for food.

The media could not be loaded. Great for sensory touch and does help little ones get the food they spill. But suction does not work on all surfaces. My daughter has a 4moms high chair and suction does not work there. But on my granite it does.
