So much heat for a little heater. My husband and I bought this heater so we could keep our energy bill down since it is a bit colder than normal for November in Pennsylvania. First use is a bit smelly due to the wick getting seasoned in, but otherwise not terribly smelly for an indoor/outdoor heater. We use this in the living room and the cats enjoy the extra heat! My Mom loved that it was small and put out a lot of heat, so we ordered her one.

This item arrived smashed on one side and with half a dozen pieces of hardware jammed into crevices that I had to disassemble to find. Three other pieces were bouncing around in the box loose. This item was shipped in the product box and other boxes: padding, bubble, NOTHING! It took me about three hours to completely disassemble and reassemble this item. There are no locking washers anywhere. There are no nuts & and bolts anywhere. Just holes with metal screws that had come off that I then had to screw back in the half-worn-out holes. This item is cheap, cheap, cheap, even for Chinese standards and the packaging looks like it was done by a six-year old child.

Small size is nice. Will not burn for the listed time as the tank is too small to contain the needed volume for an 18 hour burn. There is always a smell of kerosene while in use. I cannot find a sweet spot to get a fully clean burn. However, my carbon monoxide detector has picked up no issues at all during use. It also does not have automatic shutoff if tipped over so keep that in mind. All of that being said, it is a simple and easy to use little heater if you can take the odor. I would order again.
