RimmelSunshimmer Water Resistant Instant Tan Wash Off Matte - Medium

I love it, especially for my "milk bottle" legs. It evens up the skin with a slight shimmer. I also bought the brush for it at the same time and it keeps my hands clean. Im not a sumbather and dont like self tanning products so I find this to be a big relief, especially as it stays put till you wash it off and it didnt transfer to my clothes or light beige furniture.

Cannot believe that I can still get this amazing stuff! I'm 51 n I used this alot from the age of 13! Still as amazing as then n the smell is the same too. Smells like perfume not the biscuit smell like other tanning products. It dries really quick n when U use a kabuki brush to apply it it is absolutely amazing. Never faulted at all. Easy to wash off too. Great for my legs which are so pale they look like milk bottles. No lie. Just look at the pics 😂 but the pics don't do it justice. I've used the medium shade so it gives me a lush golden glowing tan that doesn't look fake, streaky nor patchy. I've tried so many tanning products n this by far is THE BEST! Thanks Rimmel. U never to cease to amaze.

Never been a fan of fake tan but thought I would give this a try. Very easy to apply (must use a mitt) streak free, smells nice and colour is very nice and looks very natural. Super impressed

Really natural lookingI’ve used this for years and I can’t live without it 😂I don’t wear makeup at all, never have, so I use this product to even out my skin blemishes and it also gives me a healthy look it’s brilliantIt does dry quickly while applying so I mix a bit of moisturiser (Johnson’s baby lotion) with it and it does the trickI’m 58 years old now and I’ve used it as long as I can remember.. honestly, every day, and it lasts all day it’s part of my morning routine 😀

This self-tanning product has great application and color but is ruined by an overpowering fragrance that lingers and clashes with other scents. Not for those sensitive to strong smells.

I have used this product for years and I’m very glad to see it is still being made, although the packaging has been updated. This is a *wash off* tan product. It comes as a thick, darkly stained, gel-like liquid which needs to be applied with a glove/mitt or a sponge of some sort as it is staining to the hands, however it washes off with soap and water. I use this mainly for my face all year round and I apply it instead of/in combination with a foundation. I apply it with a foundation brush in circular motions and it gives a tanned warm glow without blemish coverage, so more of a stain, but it looks natural because of that, and often it’s all I need to wake up some glow. You only need a very small amount of product as it goes a long way. I have dark skin so I use the darkest shade, but it is quite dark. In the summer I use this on my body, especially my legs and it looks really natural (and can pass at thin denier tanned tights) it doesn’t streak if you apply quickly in circular motions and it is not waterproof. It dries very quickly and completely, feels comfortable and does not transfer to clothes unless you apply it an area that’s likely to get sweaty. Note: do not use immediately after a moisturiser or it will roll into tiny balls on your skin, let your moisturiser absorb completely first and don’t use anything too greasy, use a high water content moisturiser. Quick and easy to use for a temporary summer glow. Years of use means I can recommend this product.

I’ve used Rimmel instant tan from my days as a tanned dark orange and free spirited 18 year old in my long gypsy skirt and large buckle belt dancing to pretty green eyes - “the world is mine” orange tan all the way vibes yay!!! - through to the tired 41 year old mother dancing only to embarrass my kid.This isn’t orange, it’s a lovely sun-kissed colour and covers up all sorts of wobbly bits and lines. And no smell!! I no longer wear tan or makeup or nice clothes so this gives a nice colour if I ever wear something that’s not walking the dog clothes. Makes me look healthy apparently. So it’s magical.
