This one doesn't come with a motor.

Q: Is there a version of this with the small stepper like the dm1, or a link to the stepper used in the dm1?

As far as I can tell you can add any stepper you like to this setup. I got a short body stepper myself to save on weight when I upgraded to linear rail/direct drive on my Chiron. In hindsight though I probably would have gone with the DM1 and used my original V6 end. Also keep in mind that this is a narrow body extruder so you’ll either need a longer shaft stepper or a 5mm(ish) spacer for everything to line up correctly in whatever carriage you build. Hope it helps.
