The other reviews have done an admirable and thorough job of describing this jockstrap. Indeed, the style is like the kind I wore in high school except those were boring white. I purchased the green one mainly because I thought that it looked "cool." Plus, I'm a sucker for green. Like the whole army vibe. I'm writing this review because I was contacted by Go Cooler, checking on my satisfaction. So yes, very satisfied! But so far, no compliments on the jockstrap.

I’m the size exactly between large and extra large.This one fits perfectly and it has enough pouch space for everything.

Old...... School.That's how I would describe this one.This reminds me of a classic Bike brand jockstrap.Here are the stats for the size large which I ordered: (wish I ordered medium)....The waistband, when you lay it flat and measure it, measures 16 inches, so that gives you a 32 inch waist, and that is unstretched.It is two and a half inches wide, it's soft against the skin and not scratchy.The leg straps from where they are sewn at the waist to the bottom of the pouch are 13 inches long and they are 1 inch wide.The pouch from where it is attached to the waist to the bottom of where the leg straps attach is 7 inches long at the back, and 6 inches long from top to bottom, at the front of the pouch.When laid on its side the pouch measures 3 inches from front to back so opened wide, that would be a total of 6 inches from side to side.The last bullet point on the product page information describes this as:"Bulge-defining Fit"Based on other jockstraps that I have, I would tend to disagree that this is a "bulge defining fit" (unless you are extra "gifted"). Jockstraps as a whole *all* offer a bit of "bulge definition" and this does that but just cannot be described as "bulge defining fit".I measured another (brand) size large jockstrap that also came from here at Amazon.It actually is a "bulge defining fit".The leg straps are 2 inches shorter; way better fit for me personally....The pouch itself measures five and a half inches from the waist to where the leg straps attach so that's a whole inch and a half less pouch and more of lift and pushing the equipment, forward.THAT is bulge defining.This, as I said is more of a standard, old school, kind of fit in the pouch.This will be a comfortable jockstrap (for me) for a variety of workouts and activities.Since it is a wider waist band you'll want to choose your size accordingly as it is worn higher with those longer leg straps.Another observation which you can clearly see on the product page is the color variation.The leg straps and waistband are the same color.The pouch is a slightly different shade of green.It is well represented in the photos on the product page; that is what you will be receiving.This garment allows for standard laundering procedures so you can machine wash and dry this.This went through a warm water wash and a medium heat dry (in a laundry lingerie bag) and came out pretty much the same as it went in; no shrinkage or degradation of fabric or elastic; that is after ONE wash.For longevity, I recommend putting these in a laundry lingerie bag. Just my two cents.In all, this appears to be of quality materials and workmanship; nice stitching, nice fabrics, nice feel.I do wish I'd ordered the medium. I'm 5'10" 165ish pounds.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

This jockstrap fits like a jockstrap, not a glove, and that’s a very good thing indeed. Why would you want to wear a glove down there?The elastic waistband is a solid 2 3/4 inches, the back straps grip firmly to your posterior, and the front pouch holds the other part in place. My waist is 31 inches, so I ordered a small, and the fit was exactly as I expected. And if you were thinking of making a snide remark based on my waist size, shame on you.With normal usage, this should hold up to several wearings and washings. Though the label advises machine-washing warm, I think a cold setting would be better to maintain the fabric, or even a hand wash with mild detergent and room-temperature water. The label advises tumble-drying low, which certainly is better on the elastic than a medium or high setting, but air drying might help extend the life. It also might be a good idea to launder this in a delicates bag to protect it from stretching and guarantee it will protect your delicates for a long time to come.At the current price of $9.99, this is an excellent value for a quality jockstrap. I have paid more and gotten less in the past.I will update this review in the weeks and months to come if I notice any change in quality beyond normal wear and tear from usage. As for posting a photo … well, you’ll just have to use your imagination.

This jock is high quality like the old school jocks when I was a boy. I have one caveat - it's a bit different colored than it looks in the picture (see my photo). In the picture, I thought I was getting an army green/olive jock but it's actually two-toned - the band is olive green while the jock punch is faded hunter - I like it but some guys might not like the two-toned nature of it. Wide band - very comfortable. I would say this fits big if anything. Some jocks, I have to wear XXL and some jocks I wear XL and this one was nice and comfy out of the bag. This would be great for a military themed party. Another caveat is that this is old school-style so if you don't trim, you're going to sort of bush out on the sides (some modern jocks have more coverage on the left and right side. Very comfortable I could wear all day and that's why I say it's fits a little big - most old school jocks are tight as heck when you put them on so I would say this runs a little big, definitely not asian sized like many of the jock straps on Amazon. A quality product comparable to name brands old school style jocks 2 times the price !

This is now the fourth Broddle product I've received and I'm now officially a fan. Like the others, this product exceeds expectations and is priced well for what you get.This is an old-school style jock in fit and materials, but more comfortable. There's lots of stretch to the pouch while maintaining support. The straps are soft, smooth and supportive. The sewing is done very well and includes reinforcements to areas that less compliance/ stretch is desired.The army green is both functional and stylish. The fit is as expected and went through machine washing with 0 issues.
