I have curly/wavy hair and did an amazing layer cut and curtain bangs on my hair with these. I used a razor instead of shears on the layers. It's just so much easier to hold than a comb when cutting your own hair.10/10 recommend!

The scissors in this set are very sharp, and operate smoothly. Hubby and I couldn't quite get the guides figured out, but the scissors are worth the cost of the set.

Do not buy. Scissors are dull and make horrible mess.

Money's getting tight all over (and I mean ALL over) and my wife absolutely loves that she can get a near-salon quality trim between cut/styles.Solves so many of her “I'm not standing in front of me” perspective problems.

OK for what it is. Thought they were flexible but they are hard plastic. The level is a cute idea but if you can't bend the guide you can't see it so it's pretty pointless for self trimmers.Also, non-flexible trimmers won't cut evenly so you can't use it on the back of your head. If you want a cut that's shorter in the back with longer front/sides then this is for you.Oh, and the scissors are junk. Had to keep tightening them and they weren't sharpened. Like Kindergarten scissors.

I have naturally curly hair soo can get away with doing my own trims at home without it having to be perfect. However, this definitely helped me to keep things organized! I had much better layers this time, resulting in nothing healthy looking hair, and my curls have never been better! Didn’t take a picture of those. Scissors were extra sharp and precise. Soo excited to have this in my pocket for when I need to do a quick trim at home.
