Likes:1 The size is more compact and slimmer than any other modern brand I have used of late tending to prefer the skeleton cage design, this fits nicely into a winter coat pocket or tool pouch more easily and has a belt clip also2. Construction seems tough and robust with a mixture of hard dense plastic and rubber for the casing with the tape made from steel.3. Tape comes with both Metric & Imperial measurements along it shared on 1 side only which seems rather busy on a blade that measures 10mm 3/8" (on a Fatmax retractable blade maybe 32mm 1 1/4") not hard to print 1 on either side and use this tape accordingly, its for setting out not micro measurements.4. 1:5 gear ratio, so fairly fast retrieve.5. The winding handle if after winding back in, the handle does not align up with locking groove on the case, you can push down and turn it until it does and it will lock in place.Dis-likes (not really dislikes apart from point 1 but more a ??? wtf???)1. As stated above in point 3 the measurements seem too busy on a slender blade of this side and the millimeters are stated not the centimeters, so there`s lots of extra `0`s` on there that do not need to be in an already congested place. `Using these tools mainly outside in all weathers and mud etc... please make them as easy as you can to read`2. As stated in this advertising `Tru-zero end hook has 3-rivets`no it doesn`t, mine has 2, not a biggy but don`t sell it with what it doesn`t have.3. Not seen in the pictures here but on the side is a clear perspex window you can slide open, pretty much like on the side of a chalk line case for re-filling, you can see the tape blade but the blank rear side so I see no reason for this being here at all.All in all I think a faily good product and at £25 not a bank breaker either, small, robust and affordable but blade design although I can see why it has to be slender to keep design small, the actual measurement could be displayed a lot better and maybe only 1 type, Imperial = USA & metric = EU And why the window?

Wasn't what I was expecting as it was soft material. This was a present for my husband, I did go out and get another one but still gave him this one and he loved it, so it was a hit with him

Good tape, really poor winding mechanism design which lets product down:(
