This seasoning is more versatile than for steak alone. I put it on anything that needs to be spiced, and many times guests ask about the seasoning because they like the flavors and want to purchase it. It is a nice blend of flavors that works with many foods. I use it on eggs, vegetables and in casseroles as well as on meat. It does have a salt content that might be a little much for some, so beware of that. It's not a hot spice and is safe for those who need GLUTEN FREE!

I've been using Montreal Steak Seasoning for probably 20 years and it's still one of the best steak seasonings around. For the price, I felt like this might be a cheap knockoff...but no...it's the real deal!While this is touted as a steak seasoning, don't overlook the fact that it also works great with burgers, pork chops, baked chicken and fish. It's also amazing on grilled veggies and even baked potatoes.And if you think it's great in the kitchen, I dare you to take it camping for the best burgers and fire-baked potatoes you ever had. I bought this jar to replenish my camp supply and the big jar completely filled my bottle and then some. This was a really great value.The ingredient list says it contains coarse salt, black pepper, red pepper, garlic, onion, sunflower oil, natural flavor, and extractives of paprika. However, that can't possibly be the full list because dill is always a characteristic scent in this seasoning. Whatever. It tastes fantastic. There are no artificial flavors and no MSG is added. It's also gluten free.
