Chairs Glide on Carpet
Nice product and simple to use. Placed on wood chairs and they now glide with one finger over carpets and rugs.

Amazing
I wish I had gotten these from the start. I have an overbed table with horrible wheels that finally broke. I replaced them with this and the table is the best now. I wasn't sure these would add enough height but they do. They don't slip and slide around but then I push the table, it moves easily - and this is on carpeting. Unlike with the wheels, the table doesn't feel unstable or ready to tip over.Someone advised me to get sliders larger than the 1- inch table legs for the stability & that really helps. If I had know how well these sliders work, I never would have used the wheels at all.Another plus is that the sliders are so discreet. I don't really notice them & the wheels were very noticeable. So, bottom line is that these work better and look nicer.

Woohoo!
These furniture sliders complete my snow-melt granules (for melting snow on sidewalks) storage problem for my small apartment. The snow-melt granules are stored in a tiny front closet and they're shockingly heavy ..... so I needed a functional storage solution.I got a smallish vertical bin with a lid, and then chose these furniture sliders over the option of having wheels under the bin, only because the snow-melts are so darned heavy that I'm sure they would have busted the bin over the wheels. I got these furniture sliders instead and chose their size for their versatility, not too big, not too small. Without checking beforehand (my bad), I learned these sliders have no adhesive to stick them to furniture, so I had a moment of panic, then remembered that hot glue sticks to foam!!! I used 7 of these sliders under my bin and they're now working LIKE A CHARM, sliding over my carpet like a boss!!! They saved the day and now my snow-melt storage challenge is FINISHED, whew!!! Of course, I have extra of these, which is nice to have around, especially since their size is so versatile. These work and I recommend them!!!

My Back Thanks You!
I had a choice, and I chose wisely.I began with a roughly 200 lbs. sit/standing motorized desk, loaded with more electronic "gamer" crap than any one person should have a right to accumulate. The cables were all neatly tucked away, velcro-ed, and orderly. But it had to move. Not far, but not only move, it had to ROTATE. This thing, at least 300 lbs. at this point had 5 points of contact with the carpeted floor. The choice, simply put, was to remove everything from it, struggle to move it unladen, and then put it all back together. But that felt like giving up.I bought these, and made my wife climb under the beast to insert them under the contact points while i lifted each side gently. Why my wife, you may ask? Well, she's not equipped to assess any damage to the things on TOP of the desk if things went wrong. And if things went wrong UNDER the desk, well, i wouldn't have to hear about my plan being stupid. Our 20-year relationship has given us a shorthand, and through teamwork, and only mild one-sided annoyance, we get the contact points seated on these pads. Then it came time to...as my Sitcom Spirit Animal would say, PIVOT! and PIVOT! we did!The monstrosity glided effortlessly into place, rotating a full 90 degrees and 5 feet across the room. The deed was done. No unwiring. No removal of monitors from intricate mounts. In fact, it was a resounding success. All that was left was for the Mrs. to climb back under and remove the pads. She was a trooper. I think ill keep her, and these pads; forever.

Glide Perfect On Carpet!
I used some of these for my kitchen island that is on a carpet so I can move it for cleaning. The island is 5' x 6' made of heavy wood with a large cabinet underneath - the size and type that is meant to be stationary - and with moderate effort I can move the island myself! Next project is all of my dining room furniture, also on carpet!

Hard to move on carpet
This is a nice product. The five inch slider is a great size. The foam middle is substantial and, after resting my heavy recliner couch on it, there was hardly a dent made. (The weight of my couch on my old sliders pushed all the way through the foam and buckled the slider.) I gave it only three stars because they worked great, but only on a couple pieces of furniture. For most of my furniture, which is on carpet, I found it difficult, but doable, to slide the furniture, but occasionally the slider slid off. I then tried another brand under that same furniture and was able to move the furniture effortlessly with that brand.
