I'm glad I shopped around and found these. The old incandescent bulbs in my Piper Cherokee panel were terrible for illuminating the instruments at night. I replaced them all with these and the light level is roughly double and bright white instead of dull yellow. The LED head is just the right size to fit in the holes without having to modify anything. They also work with the existing Piper dimmer although I always leave it on full bright. I would highly recommend these for aircraft replacement panel lights (at least for the Piper PA28 series) for a couple reasons; they don't get hot just a bit warm, they are significantly brighter than the incandescent equivalent, and they fit without replacement and don't stick out much farther than the glass bulb incandescent ones so there is room for the panel cover in front of them. I'm very pleased. One thing to note is, at least for this specific application, I needed to replace all the bulbs. If I just replaced one the LED would barely come on. Once they were all replaced they worked fine.

Surprisingly, these fit Audi Q7 despite how these LED bulbs are slightly bigger than the filament types. However, they are much easier to install and take out compared to the filament because they have good grips to grab for rotation. Good value for the money.

I bought a single box of 5 bulbs to try initially. They were nice and bright, threw out a nice omnidirectional light pattern and were everything I was looking for. I bought another 2 boxes of them.

Used these to replace the dome lights on my Lexus SC430 which had reverse polarity. Other LED bulbs did not work but these did. Installed with no problems.

Installed three in a 2001 TW200 indicator panel. The blue "high beam" indicator is plenty visible now. The neutral and turn signal indicators are unbelievably bright. Almost too bright for nighttime, except that unlike the high beam they would normally be off. So it's really quite perfect for the usage scenario. Read some other similar products have the polarity backwards - these seemed to work no problem.

Tried couple different brands and kept this one. Right amount of brightness and white light. Used this for the overhead map lights.

Replaced some of the interior bulbs in my 2006 (B7) Audi Avant when my cheaper bulbs started to flicker and go out. Much brighter than I expected and have not had any issues with them since they were installed!

Item works/used as described. Would purchase in the future again.
