I have had lots of stomach issues for the past 3 decades to where I can barely eat anything without suffering afterwards. I have been using some of this company's other products with amazing success. So when I stumbled on some reviews of this product saying that it helped others with irritable bowel, lactose intolerance, and gluten intolerance I decided to give this product a try. I'm so glad I did! Over the past 2.5 years, I only have dietary issues when I run out of this product!!! In fact, I've gone from a level of lactose intolerance so severe that without handfuls of lactose pills I could only eat one bite of ice cream or pizza or I would be spending the next 12 hours on the toilet in severe distress to not needing lactose pills at all when eating several slices of pizza AND a mug of ice cream in one meal! I am SO THANKFUL!

I have read numerous articles about digestive enzymes and their effect on overall health - so that is why I take one every day. But I always keep extras in my purse and when someone in the family gets an upset stomach, or has eaten too much, etc., we now take two of these instead of an antacid - and they work ten times better. At first, my husband was skeptical but is now a total believer. I shared some with a friend of mine who has IBS and she called me to say it literally changed her life and that everyone was telling her she had lost weight - but it just took care of all the bloating and water weight, and that she felt better than she ever had. She takes one or two before every meal. This product has therefore far exceeded my expectations - and since it has a probiotic in it, no more expensive probiotics to buy separately. So while it may be a tad pricey, I'm only buying one product now instead of two. I will never be without this product.

I am pleased with this product as it appears to do what it claims. I digest my food very slowly and it takes quiet a while to pass from my stomach into the intestinal tract. I believe there are several enzmyes my body lacks to break down food. Many times this will cause bloating and/or gas as well as indigestion. Since starting to take these enzymes along with Greek yogurt, I have not had very many digestion issues. I have only been taking 2 instead of 3 tablets per day as I do not usually eat three meals per day. Even at the reduced dosage, I feel much better than I did without these enzymes and probiotics. I hope to see an even better outcome with continued use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would prefer to only have to take 1 or 2 pills per day instead of 3.

I always have a bottle of this on hand. I take it daily. It helps my body process foods, especially ones that might have something in them that reacts negatively.

*Edit September 2022 - ten years?!? Where has the time gone?!?!! I came across this old review and had completely forgotten about how his behavior had gotten WORSE before it got better! I just wanted to add that after all this time, we are still using them! He takes one a day, unless he’s on antibiotics and then he takes one in the AM and one in the PM to help keep him square. We’ve tried other formulas a couple of times, but always came back to this. *Edit June 2014 We tried this product again along with a daily vitamin and Omega-3 pill starting in 2013 (a year ago) and WOW. I don't know why we didn't have any luck the first time around (maybe the first batch wasn't handled properly and was inactive?) But our son is now 12 and you can TELL when he hasn't taken one of these. When taken regularly he is more alert, it's easier for him to interact with people, he's more PLEASANT (preteen!) but let me say that the first 5 weeks on the product made me question why we were trying it again. It was strange because although he was making great eye contact and seemed to understand us easier he was also more of a handful behaviorally, ANGRY more often than not and his stimming went WILD. Like I've read for others, I really questioned if I wasn't making it worse and wondered if this could be worth it! It has been. I'm shocked at the difference and so glad we decided to give it another go. *Original review below. We were so busy trying to analyze whether this product made any difference in our 9 year old with autism I think we were trying to convince ourselves that it was working. We tried this for 3 months and never really saw anything concrete. He has been off of the D.G.+ for several months now and I honestly don't see that it made a difference. We will stick to expanding our son's diet through books, movies and games and continue weaning him off of processed junk by finding "Real" healthy alternatives so that he can naturally receive the right mix of enzymes, vitamins, probiotics and minerals that are found in non-genetically altered, non-processed, natural, whole, organic foods.

The capsules are a bit larger than what I feel comfortable trying to swallow, so I emptied the first capsule, sprinkling the contents on my food, which made the food taste rather unpleasant. So I then decided to just try swallowing the second capsule at the beginning of my next meal, but it gave me immediate, vehement, debilitating, terrifying stomach pain – far worse than anything I’d ever experienced from any type of food - ever. So I won’t be consuming any more of this product – it turned out to be not only an expensive mistake, but also a painful one.

After trying many other digestive enzymes, this is the only one I actually felt something happening positively. Note the levels of key enzymes which are far greater than cheaper ones. A bit more, but it has worked where others did nothing.

It's been three days and these seem to be doing the job that I hoped. I was clearly not breaking down/digesting oils and some vegetable fiber well. I think these enzymes are helping and I notice no adverse effects.

Great product that works well! I'm feeling much better now that I use this product. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with digestive issues.
