100 Percent Organic Hand Poured Beeswax Premium Quality, Cosmetic Grade and Triple Filtered 5 oz (2 Pack)

I was suspicious as soon as I opened the package, it smelled like burnt crayons and the light color was suspicious as well. When I started melting it, it stunk up my whole house with the burnt crayon smell. Beeswax has a fresh and pleasant scent, this is not bees wax. I don't know how this has any positive reviews. Maybe originally they were selling real beeswax and decided to do the cheap and dirty switch to paraffin. As one other buyer pointed out, the picture in the ad shows the bars as stamped with BEESWAX but the product I received was stamped with the brand name CHEFLAND. This is down right dirty and dangerous for an "organic cosmetic grade" product that people will be using on their body.

I bought this with the intent to make beeswax wraps. The project did not go as intended. These box for very inconvenient for people trying to shave the beeswax down to Little pieces. Next time I think I would prefer to buy the beads rather than the block. But for those who are looking to buy a bigger quantities for like candlemaking this would be the perfect option to choose

Ordered from Fast Shipping Supplements, and yes, they did ship quickly. I like the beeswax well enough; I'm using it for homemade earplugs since my ears are bothered from so many years of wearing earplugs made from synthetic material. Right now I'm just cutting a small piece, warming it with my hands and molding it into a piece to fit in my ears, but at some point I'm going to try mixing in a little olive oil to soften the wax up a bit--it's pretty firm. So it works great for this. The only thing I don't like is the added fragrance--I really don't want perfumed beeswax, I thought organic meant it would smell however beeswax smells by itself. I imagine the smell will depend on which seller you go with, so it might be worth researching various options if you're looking for something smell-neutral. Until I figure out how to deodorize it, I'll be going around smelling perfumy (and I avoid scented stuff like the plague because I hate smelling like anything other than me).

Highly recommend this stuff! I’ve used this to make lotion and chapstick (extremely moisturizing) and it’s raw!! I love the smell of raw beeswax! They came in the perfect size to make a whole batch of lotion and are easy to store because of how small they are!
