Magical Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine (The Beatles Album Series)

Nothing to dislike, I've always been interested in the Beatles psychedelic era and this gives you excellent detail albeit from an American viewpoint

What I like about this series of books is that as well as containing many interesting facts and figures on the albums, the books also reference the times the albums were released and put things into an historical and social context as well. Bruce Spizer is to be commended for the research and effort he put into this book and the quality of the additional contributions from the other writers. Many nice illustrations and pictures are present and the fan reminisces are fun to read particularly one from Leslie Samuels who actually met each individual Beatle and has a photo of George receiving his peace button and meeting Ringo in July 1967.
