Prefect for sourdough
These are great! While I mostly use them to store my sourdough starter, I've also used them for pickling. The wide mouth makes it easy to get in and out of the jar, and the clear lids make it easy to see inside. Super duper!

If you know Weck you know these are beautiful almost an art form and to call them a canning jar is like calling a 69 Chevelle Super Sport just a car.

Great Sourdough Jar
These jars are awesome for sourdough starter. Very easy to clean in the dishwasher and wide mouthed for easy access for scooping. I feel they're very sturdy as well, not flimsy glass but thick and hardy. The seals work well too as I've had one of my starters in the fridge for a few months in one of these and it's still sealed up perfectly.

Great versatile jars!
I saw some reviews that showed broken jars and was scared to order these. Decided to chance it and glad I did. They all arrived perfect. Absolutely love weck jars because they are so versatile and for six of these its a great price. Will be ordering more!

Weck jars
Weck jars are a must especially if you bake sourdough.. But really they're good for anything, I love these so much, jars keep my sourdough starter healthy

Weck jars are second to none…shipping and handling can be an issue
1 of the 6 jars was completely busted. The lid is fine and all other jars seem to be ok. Unfortunately, Amazon would only offer total refund for return instead of a partial refund so I guess I’ll just take the loss here. Otherwise, jars are as described. Authentic Weck jars. I already have 2 so these match up as expected. Great jars despite shipping issues.

Best for sourdough!
These jars are the BEST for sourdough!! Sourdough gets so hard when dry and I love not having the edges around the top like Mason jars have.They have held up VERY well.
