What are these like size wise as I see one review wishes had gone 2 sizes bigger !

I'm medium-large. I bought medium and they are tight but still ok. If I was to buy again I'd go up a size.

Hi are these gloves water resistant?

I'd say splash resistant but not proper rain resistant.They are good warm cycling gloves but only for the dry days.

What temperature are these good for and for how long? I'm looking for something good for 2 hours at temp between 0 and 4 degrees celsius.

I have found them OK at 3deg for about an hour or so which is as long as I need them for. Not quite so good in high humidity almost freezing weather. Having said that I am almost 80 yrs old and probably don't get the old circulation going as much as someone younger. I don't cycle in the rain so I don't require waterproof gloves. Some of he cheaper waterproof gloves just have a rubber glove sewn into the construction and they end up sweaty (and cold)

How much padding is on the palms

Not much, they fit snuggly and there is plenty of flexibility in them.
