Update from review below. One of the solder joints had cracked but luckily I have the stuff to fix it. So working great nowOld review:Guess I got a bad one back in March and ended up not using them right away, so now in December I was going to trim some knots out and they don't work. The power supply is putting out the required 12v and is contacting the clippers. Must be a loose wire inside maybe?My own fault for not checking them during the return period but they seem like great quality otherwise.

We have an Irish doodle and the clippers had no problem going through her thick thick coat! If needed, would definitely purchase again in the future!

If your dog has very fine fur and a lot of it these trimmers get stuck and won’t cut through it. I can’t use any of the guards because it catches on the fur.I did use them on my fiancés head and they worked great on his hair!I’d say better for people than for animals. That’s for sure.
